This is a terrific little video -- the bath is delightful but you've also caught not only the "whining (who wouldn't whine with that truck noise?) but also some of it's beautiful singing, too. Kudos!!
when i got outside to check on my pigeons and the catbird i saw the white pigeon pulling on the catbird's feathers as if it was a hawk that caught a pigeon.
there was nothing i could do but bury the bird =( he was dead and bleeding everywhere
@SileentKilleer - Nature can definitely be cruel - it's kind of interesting to hear that a pigeon would attack as intensely as that, but territory is everything to them! Sorry to hear about the catbird though - :(

OMG my white pigeon killed a catbird today =(
Pigeons can be very territorial.
The catbird flew over to my balcony and started eating pigeon seeds just when i have my 4 pigeons out of the cage for they're daily flight.
3 of my pigeons flew away but one stayed behind and attacked the catbird.
i saw the catbird when it flew to my balcony but never expected my pigeon to attack.

I think she was either happy she was getting a bath or she was trying to keep other birdies away. :):)

Probably a little of both - either that, or it's calling to it's mate to come join it in the water...

Where I come from (Cape Cod) they say you're never farther than 10 ft. from a catbird!

I can believe that, I've had times where I've set cameras up for one thing or another, only to have a catbird within a few feet of me!

Hehe... no... why would it be? :) I shot the video, it's mine, so technically it's my property.
