I think a lot of people are missing the point of L.A. Waiter. It's meant to show what its like working retail jobs. It's got nothing to do with Bob being a crappy lazy employee or the customer's point of view.
It's about how people feel working these kinds of low-paid, pointless jobs where you get no respect from 95% of your customers and no appreciation from your boss.
Bob had a dream of acting, but being a waiter paid the bills. Now he's older and trapped in the no skills, no respect, no
I sense that there is a real statement being made, here ... and there's a punchline at the end. I was about to say that I didn't thin it was being made in any sort of a comedic way, but there's that punchline, ja.
Hey, it's your two cents, to have made this, but I don't expect I'll be spending my own on this, any further ^-^ I mean, if the show had some humor in the delivery, maybe it would be funny then - or am I supposed to poo-poo the LA Waiter with all my friends? Hm... no thanks ^-^
Ok I feel some of this vid, but what I don't feel is these Hollywood types calling clean, honest regular jobs "meaningless". He's not really a waiter, he's an actor/writer/producer or whatever, calling ppl who don't have fancy schmancy Hollywood jobs, "meaningless". Go fuck yourself, and get a sense of humor. This blows.
I'm speaking from a patron's point of view. I have had really sucky service, then I've had really awesome service, and let me tell you, it really makes your night. The whole dinner experience was lovely and I left a hefty tip. Besides, like I said, at least ppl are TRYING and working honest jobs, not in the unemployment line or selling dope. That's deserves a little more respect.
Yeah like it is like the whole jammy thingy is wack!
If the waiter like came in early and like sat around like drinking some like coffee he could recoup like some of his precious free time and like you know!
It wasn't really funny until the last five seconds. He basically did something to his boss that we ALL wished we could do. Make him look like a noob and get away with it. HAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!
This is SO my place of work.

I didn't think it was hilarious, but it was amusing. The argument especially, seemed like things I would say.
Nice ending. Also something I would have done.

lol, you've obviously never been a waiter. and if you've found meaning being a waiter well....then you are a hilarious joke.
