I agree; they totally are. She could use someone humorous and fun, and he could use someone with a good commen sense and sense of boundaries.
I'm not really sure... longing? full of jealousy? That's what popped in my mind when I saw it, at least. Confused, maybe? Like he just realized something?

I actually saw the look he gave at the end of the episode as one that was an attempt to take the whole Sam-loves-Lisbon situation lightly and not admit to himself how much it bothered him.
