this looks yummy . I would give the chicken breast a stir-fry instead of boiling it as the fat content in chicken breast is very low , stir frying it with pepper and salt will enrich its flavor.
I'm sorry, I'll have to be the ignorant American and comment on how your British accent makes everything sound "richer" and more "exquisite" >.< Love your recipes.
Thank you it was amazing... I love your videos, very entertaining and also very easy to follow. As I said, I made the filling, put a big helping over a bed of mash potatoes and then placed a puff pastry square on top. There were no left-overs haha - Thanks and keep yp the good work!
Hi Titli, I don't want to cook the pie together, I would like to spoon the filling over mash potatoes and place a puff pastry square on the plate... how long would you cook just the filling? Thanks!!
We made this for dinner tonight and it was fab! We made no substitutions but wanted to use up a few additional odds and ends in the produce drawer. We expanded on this lovely recipe by adding a cooked diced potato, a bit of chopped red pepper, some chopped mushrooms, and 1 tsp. of sage. Thank you for providing a recipe that my family will enjoy for years to come. Scrummy!
Am currently travelling around the US and last night found me in 'Claim Jumpers' San Diego eating a Chicken Pot Pie. Is your the snack size version ;)
Si les poulets de Grande Bretagne regardent cette video,vu ce que tu as comme réserve au congélateur, ils vont commencer à perdre leurs plumes de peur et ,qui sait pondre des oeufs carrés?.....
Titli, Im gonna try this recipe soon...any suggestion if I want the pastry on the bottom too, like KFC has it...should I line the bottom with pastry, bake, then add ingredients and bake again.???
@TitliNihaan I have a request, can you plz plz plz make non-alcoholic tiramisu?! please!I love tiramisu, but in USA...mostly find alcoholic version. Im sure u can come up with a simpler recipe! thanks you in advance :-)
@simis7 well, you still can make your tiramisu without any rhum, then you just need to use coffee, or a tasteful tea, stuff like that, but they need to be heated a little :)
Chicken pot pie is so comforting. I didn't have pie crust the last time I made this so I used puff pastry, which I did happen to have. It was magic...
As long as you've got a cold, dead carcass lying about your freezer (as one does), Titli, I'd love to see you make chicken stock. There are so many different methods and, with the success I've had with your recipes, I'd love to try your chicken stock.
@moonlighttz Don't turn the temperature down. Flute the edges of the pie with tin foil to prevent possible burning and then remove the foil for the last five or ten minutes of baking. It burns around the edges because it's just a thin layer of pie crust without the pot pie mixture beneath it to help that part bake evenly. Fluting the pan (as you would with any pie) will prevent this from happening.

Could you use potato for the top instead of pastry?
Timothydlol 9 months ago
@Timothydlol Yeah, why not. Potato slices or mash.
