i have one question... i'm pretty much a WoW dude... this game looks fun because when u melee someone u can do it in different directions like sideways or upwards, it's unique. I have one question.... if u want to block an attack, first of all can u do it with swords? And can u block like choosing a direction and by luck maybe u block it? Like there might be some talents which helps in blocking?? If that's the real deal... then wow will definetely be thrown in the garbage

Dark Templar just got there fix like most of the other classes, they can tank more now

nah the game still pretty much a mess. Some classes are still not balanced (dark Templar). Its neither fun nor exciting unless you run with a gank squad. Stay away from the game.

@404masterblaster the game's been fixed since this post. its pretty much fully balanced, with only assassins being a bit OP, but you can take them down. you should start playing again, really the only problem these days is the population, but it grows every day

Sure you can lag on single player mode, obviously you can! There are two different kinds of lag.

1. Latency delay, which has to do with your internet connection to the servers.

2. Graphics lag which has to do with your computer components not being strong enough to run the game properly which causes FPS lag (Frames Per Second) Reducing the images the game engine creates every second.

At the time i was playing the game the server was lag spiking to the point of 9999. That problem as been fix the last time I played it but its still got a long way to go before its really worth anything. Siege's are worthless, classes are yet to be balanced (some classes are gods, others are mice)

Not perfect by any means, but it's sure as hell one of the best mmo's out right now.

I was so Hyped up about this game I let my expectations get the better of me... Its still a Great Game, I just Imagined it as even better... Also little things are stasrting to annoy me, like the Assassin stabbing that guy, it should have be a one hit kill, the Assassination should either work or fail, not simply do more damage on the first hit then you have to duke it out... very uncool, not realistic at all, which is what Conan strives for so much, realistic (in a Fiction sense) and gritty!

Yes yes very logical , daggers can 1 hit kill you in real life but big ass balls of fire cant. An arrow that goes threw your head is ok , but a dagger in the back is like....the deadliest thing ever .

In that situation, I think that the damage delt with a backstab is more of a class balance issue than a realism issue. Keep in mind that abilities and relative damage dealt are translated identically from PvE to PvP. I'm sure there are crits that will let a well-placed backstab be a one or two shot on caster even in PvP (there are videos of this). You do have a point though, the assassin is a much more intelligently and strategically demanding class, but a 1-shot is too much to ask for.

The game is being released on the x360 with plans of hybrid servers to link pc and 360 together. They are aiming to release in October i read on a few websites but that was said last year so who knows now. Does seem more of a pc game so i think il get it for that.

It's not. There aren't enough buttons for spell slots so they aren't gonna create it. You wouldn't be able to choose which way to block/swing weapon either.
