@tetsubo57 Yeah my knees weren't liking the downstairs bit very much either! And unfortunately the trolls were rather elusive and I didn't make a sighting :P

Are the Cinque Terre spoiled by the expectation of them being beautiful or by the tourist flocking there due to the beauty?

Some places can suffer from too much attention, just wondering if these are one (or five...or whatever) of those places.

@AnIrrationalRatio Actually I went in with a slight scepticism of its reputation for being so beautiful, but I was absolutely blown away! It doesn't really seem too overrun by tourists either, if anything there seemed to be mostly Italians holidaying there!
