Many years ago I had a 14hh Fell, we took part in what was called the Chase me Charlie, a knock-out class of just 2 jumps! Two horses left, my little Fell William, and a 15.3hh mare. The girls father said he would like to carry on, his mare refused, and William jumped it, He cleared it beautifully, and won, and just out of interest the judges measured the jump, it was 5.6", and they said that he cleared it by about 4 inches! He never stopped winning and died age 36, I had him all his life.

Haha I love seeing the little guys do stuff like this. My pony has more heart than most horses and can definitely jump better than most of them too. When people say ponies can't jump high, I remind them of horses like Stroller and Theodore O'Conner ;) Great Pony.

I hate when people underestimate ponies... I love them they are totally incredible. I personally think ponies are more athletic than horses and most of the time quicker on their feet (or hooves)

Very cool! Super pony and beautifully ridden :) My friend had a very competitive Grand Prix pony who was 14hh and competed up to 1.30m - she now jumps her 14.3hh paint in Horse Grand Prix classes up to 1.50m (w/ clear rounds) and her sister cleared 1.82m (bareback) in a Puissance on a 15.1hh TB mare - it's not the size of the horse at the jump but the size of the jump in the horse! Keep up the good work :)

i miss ponies :( i used to jump my 12hh over 1m35! and my i jumped a round straw bale on my 14hh Welsh D bareback! They were both so amazing! sadly i outgrew them but i've now got a wonderful horse :) thanks Frostie and Monty for teaching me everything <3
