Alsou is Volga Bulgarian. The "Tatars" from Tatarstan are all Volga Bulgarians - Iranic people. Bulgarians are Iranic. The Volga Bulgarians were renamed to "Tatars" when the communists took the power in Russia. And the name of their republic was IDEL-URAL, the commies changed it to "Tatarstan".
