i dont think people shoot lasers at planes ( that would be stupid ) but i can understand how indoor use can slip out threw cracks in closed blinds and not properly blocked windows
USA , wont let SETI use lasers to signal E.T's ... so why would they let you be able to signal millions of miles into space... ( and who knows what your Party laser could be saying in space talk to the SkyLine Aliens )

I took the time today to go thru all your laser posts and I was well informed - Thank You! thanks also for the galaxian/kam side by side demo. There are major staff changes going on right now at FDA, give it time and be patient. They will get to it just as soon as they can but they are SWAMPED right now.
This Set of vids have been for me some of the most interesting, and informative....very interesting perhaps more of this type on the other pieces of kit....i have learnt a lot, and i live in the uk so can point them most anywhere but will follow a lot of the recommendations cheers Massive thanks je
good info. speaking of laser pointers, it very serious issue today. for example, at the retail where we finished work and about to go home, someone decided to mess around with a laser pointer and somehow the laser reached the helicopter. and then in 10 minutes, cops arrived, and more helicopters arrived, they literally almost arrested the whole department, but fortunately they let me them go.
I would assume that since it is NOT FDA approved, it is not safe in the USA or the US in general....therefore you can't get a varience for it? Think about it, cocaine, heroin, etc are not FDA approved either.... lol, if they are not safe, then they are not meant to be used and no one person can be special use for it. I haven't seen anyone walking around saying "I do cocaine, but it's ok, I have federal approval to use it".
From what I understand, this is not something the average person could do. First off, the average person can't legally import a non-FDA approved laser. Only someone with the propper importers license that's laser specific can do this. So, assuming you had all this, then you would have to try to get your product approved by the FDA which is a very long expensive process and at the end of the day, it'll probably get rejected anyway.
Everyone needs permits. So if someone is using a laser outdoors at a concert, then yes, they have gotten special permission. Otherwise, they could get into serious trouble
