They had to lip sync guys lol thats what they made artists do for these types of shows back then. Def Leppard doesn't need to lip sync, they are amazing live, they probably hate it as much as you guys do. The only time I got a bit mad was when they did when they performed Dancing with the Stars. Joe was sick, but they didn't want to cancel because they were promoting their new album so they had to lip sync. =| I'd rather see them perform later, but w/e.

I would rather see them lip syncing than to not see them at all! How do you think that videos are done? LIP SYNCING! Should bands not do videos, talk shows, morning shows if they have to lip sync? Gees, it's better than nothing, and it's not like they lip sync at their concerts. Actually they still tear the roof off of the place at their concerts. I was quite impressed seeing them last year! They still put on a good show (lighting, video screen, etc) and sound great! Stop bitching!

There can be no debate that they are lip-synching to the album version. There are more layers of sound than the 5 of them can create, especially in the background vox (only Steve and Sav have mics) but in addition: (1) the guitars aren't plugged in to wireless units and there definitely aren't any instrument cables; (2) there don't appear to be any amps on stage.

This is definately the studio over the song. I have heard it live, and you cant pull it off with a 5 piece live the EXACT same way as in the studio. The clean is way too compressed to be live. this is the studio track over the video

Vocals far too compressed to be live. As is the whole track. Just the tone of the clean guitar track should be indication enough. Ok lets look at the solo, full studio compression, also the solo is a 2 guitar lead, where's the rhythm coming from if both Steve and Phil are soloing? Live Joe pulls out an axe and plays the chords we just heard under the lead track. Definately the same track as the original studio track.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but this is NOT live. Both Steve and Phil use improv solo's and it would sound diffrent, it always does! This is what we call Lip Syncing. Idk why they wanted them to playback the studio version and not perform live. Hmm oh well, they used to rock.

Holy shit never saw that! Way cool. That was at the height of their success and they looked cool as hell...20 years ago hard to believe. This is waaaay better than todays lip syncing hoes. It's not Lep's style but they pulled it off brilliantly and Steve is way cool here!
