@ag8416 Not exactly. It just comes with a starter toner cartridge.

about how much paper can it print before changing the toner. just kinda curious before i purchase this product

@cannle10 I'm not sure what the number is but it's a lot, especially since you can set the printer to keep printing even after a low toner warning until it totally runs empty.

Quick question. I just got this baby recently and wanted to print off small pictures and have it double sided. It didn't do it automatically. Is there some sort of option to turn it on or off or something? I'll be looking into it myself but if you have an answer I'd appreciate it. Thank you for reviewing this printer. It's a beaut.

@Toomnyusernae It's part of the print dialog on Mac. Should be in the driver settings somewhere.

I have this same printer. It works great. I also have a color inkjet, but I've had that for quite a while and I only use that when I need color documents. Color laser printers are a little too pricey for me, but luckily, I wasn't the one who had to buy any of the printers I have yay.

Do you think the noise from this printer will freak out a parakeet? If i get a printer, i'll put it it my living room, where my parakeet is. Also, the paper looks sort of translucent, is it regualr paper? Thanks for posting :)

@CJFRANKS7 It might, I couldn't tell you. It's not THAT loud, but if the parakeet is easily scared, perhaps it would be a problem.

I'm planning on buying this printer next. I have an HL-2140, and it's the best printer I've ever had. But, when this printer is on sale, it's almost the same price, so why not get the upgrade?

I love the form factor, duplex printing, ink drain capability, wifi, as well as the price. Some questions I would have loved to have answered:

Does it print in color? Are the ink cartridge in individual tanks and is it cost efficent as compared to other ink catridges? Is it quick?

I have HL 2070, older model and I love it. I like this one.
