  • great song, strong word in it...

  • Is there still a Workers Party club house in the Markets? Last time i was home (from California) it was looking very run down.

  • It takes 10 days to get authority 2 wipe out an Al Queda terrorist. 10 mins to do a supposedly IRA supporter. Work it out?

  • My granda used to work in Inglis's bakery big danny

  • A great tribute to a non sectarian workers republican!!!

  • this song was written by Jim Logue and John Close who where in the band wheelbase based in belfast, great song

  • @logie10101 Thanks for the info on the origins of the song! Glad you enjoyed.

  • Well done, victory to the Workers Party of Ireland.

  • Very good song here, sung well !

  • Its songs like these that that put to shame the lack of action from the south,i have often thought the Republican`s in the North are twice the people than those of the rest of Ireland.

    Pure Class.

  • @tipp1959 What because we decided not to pick a fight with someone who would blast us into the next centuary. You lot are more then welcome to come to the south...........

  • @Lordangers HI I am "not you lot" as you called it.

I am from your lot!!!!!!!!!!! my point is the people of the 6 northen counties have more balls than the rest of us put together.

  • @tipp1959 Was the Omaha bombing courage? It takes more courage to not use guns when your trying to stop the guy with the guns. I hate the British government for occupying the north but I will have patience with the peace work.

  • Interesting that the mother of a leading INLA figure would be singing this...about an OIRA hero. As a Yank who was there in the 70's & who ended up with friends on both sides of that split, I've always felt that the OIRA/INLA split was far more destructive to the ultimate goal of A 32 COUNTY WORKERS REPUBLIC, than the 69/70 Provo split was....any discussion on this?

  • tell me is that jim and ta powers mother

  • @ardoynejune27th1970 it is indeed
