I honestly believe she would have won if she had just not had that stank attitude she had. If she was as humble as Scotty or Lauren, I really think she could have won. Singing ability is important but likability is also a huge factor and Haley was just not likable. The way she talked back and just had a cockiness surrounding her all the time, when I was watching it definitely turned me off. Such a shame she could have been such an amazing recording artist with a voice like that.

Also, winning doesn't make you a recording artist. Haley's 3rd place still got her an Interscope recording contract - 1st single due March 1st, and in the meantime already has music out w/ Casey. I just feel she's misunderstood - she had to defend herself, she was the only contestant getting negative critiques week after week.

@JorgitoLeva Amen! I said it before, but when I saw here homecoming video on elimination night, something inside me was like "This is the beginning of her journey. She is definitely going to become a legend!" I know she is going to go far and becoming a person that Lauren and Scotty wish they could be.
What really pisses me off: Randy and JLo stood up for all the other people that got eliminated, but they did not stand up for Haley. Not every one puts on a false front. Haley was always sweet and respectful..but so many people confuse standing up for yourself as being rude. Did she ever say "Randy you're dumb for saying that" "Jennifer what kind of idiotic criticism is that?" No, she said how she felt in a very mature and kind way. American Idol is fast becoming a big joke. I think it's testimony to how much we love the show, that musically sensible people like me are still watching. This is going to be the most anticlimatic finale's ever. I have nothing against Lauren and Scotty but the fact is they are not American Idol finale material. Haley, Casey, James and Pia were all in a league of their own; and none of them even made the final. AI is now nothing more than a teen choice award;tweens you've won, are you happy now.

1 more thing: 2 years ago the judges were knocking down Allison Iraheta about personality and how she didn't have any... why did they not say that to Lauren? Her interviews with Seacrest are way worse than Allison's... that being said, in order for Lauren to win the finale, she needs to sing like she did in her audition. I still wish it was a Haley vs Lauren finale too

What really pisses me off: Randy and JLo stood up for all the other people that got eliminated, but they did not stand up for Haley. In the end, when Steven got up to go give Haley a hug, Randy got up like "ugh I don't want to" and JLo sat there like an idiot acting like "i'm not going up there"... Lost so much respect for the two of them

Haley will make it far in this business she's this years American idol!! Lauren and Scotty are competing for the title of country idol and if canadians were voting on these contestants theres no way in hell these 2 kids would have made it this far, the final 2 spots would be reserved for true artistic musicians like Haley and Casey!!
