Get a real gfx card like the x1600 pro at the very least. All your memory is shared memory which is just eating off your ram. XP is better for gaming.

Sorry to burst your bubble but your computer is not all that powerful for gaming.I know my 1501 Inspiron can spank that PC.Try using Windows XP that is 80Mb of the ISO file.Windows Vista sucks especially for Gamerz.
maybe try crysis on medium and try to get atleast 25 fps or running cod 4 demo on high with no AA on 1024*768 and getting 35 fps. Like thats ever gonna happen.
i have it i play halo 100% on wide screen and like WoW world of warcraft i get high fps lol if you turn all the settings down on Cod4 u can play at 25fps
The 8300 sucks. I have the card. It gets the job done but it sucks.

Not true, Vista uses your RAM to boost your Video memory, so actually, vista is better for gamers. Do some research.
