  • great phone, terrible music

  • I love this phone

  • I own this phone and i have one thing to say. DO NOT get this phone, Google has been effectivley hiding their major flaw in the phone for the past 6 months and expressed that they will relase a 'fix' for the last 4 months.

If you want proof, go search 'Nexus s Voice search major problem ' on Google (i cant put the link on this comment)

You can read on how thousands of other Nexus S owners are suffering from this.

    DONT GET THIS PHONE

  • Hey, Google. Should i buy your phone?

  • have had the nexus one for 2 year loved it that much i am getting the nexus S better than iphone i have iphone 4 in my draw and it is staying that way :))) best fone on the market

  • Quien Save Si Esta En Colombia Y En Cuanto Lo Podria Conseguir?

  • Hahahaha man, iPhone sucks. So shut up. So learn some English. @LaRyons

  • And btw learn simple English first before calling others stupid ;) fuck face

  • Oh OK so I am fucking stupid eh?u must be using an iPhone 4 then since u asked me to get 2g you are simply an apple fanboy trying to mess up your own definition of nexus sucks eh tell you what get a life and stop using complex matters to get what you want.if you are doing this I advise you to get a life

  • @LaRyons Why not get Nokia 3310,it might help :)

  • in terms of updates, nexus will always get the juicy stuff first,so for those who want gingerbread but NON-nexus,the nexus family woulda moved on to the Ice Cream Sandwich already :D

  • @LaRyons FUCK off and play with your fake Nokia Arabic phone.

  • what is the song??

  • @pz8211

Allo allo - Les sans culottes

  • Coming next week in Canada..

  • Idc what people say this phone is sick.

  • If you would life in switzerland, you wouldn't think the phone is expensive..

  • French song. Je dis ça, pour une fois que je comprend les paroles dans une chanson.

    =P

  • As I said before and will say again, the price is what kills the idea of buying this product.

  • @zincink you can buy it for t-mobile for $200 w/ contract.

  • jajajajajjaa NOKIA N8 WINS! nexus its a ·$%/&

  • @JuanPGamell Symbian Sucks !

  • @NexusMadagascar if Symbien sucks, google nexus... jajaja N8 FOREVER!

  • yaaaaaa pure google

    i buyed yesterday !!!

  • Contour display??? Ever since the "Retina Display" came out everyone's gotta put some fancy name to their displays.

  • @TailsYay It's not just a fancy name for their display. It's actually contour, i.e., the screen has a slight curve shape to it.

  • @TailsYay the actual screen is a super AMOLED which is much brighter and gets much better colors than the retina display. the retina display has a much better resolution but in my opinion the super AMOLED looks better.

the contour display is actually referring to the fact that the screen and front of the phone are curved. which in my opinion feels pretty good.

  • camera operating experience not a highlight. i couldn't get it to zoom. Galaxys s is better for video/pics user interface.

  • I'm getting Apple vibes from this ad :S

  • what's the name of the song?????

  • @ajtheproto Les Sans Culottes - Allô Allô

  • Comment removed

  • until there's a Verizon 4G android phone ill stick with my iphone 4.

  • Very creative music-video that shows how Google’s sophisticated phone is so simple thru kid’s music. It beautifully explains the abilities of Google phone rhythmically in a new style. The phone is already a leader and challenging iPhone. Google has money, market and much more talented people than Apple who would bring more choices in the coming days. Current style is impressive and appealing to many people; however, some would like to get it with sd card and qwerty keyboard.

  • Yeah, im getting dizzy as well.. haha

  • Whoa...I'm getting dizzy.

  • when did the Nexus S coming to hong kong

  • Too bad no hspa+ >:(

  • @5Tallica HSPA type: HSDPA (7.2Mbps) HSUPA (5.76Mbps) ;)

  • @5Tallica

  • @5Tallica hspa+ is not necessary, the future is 4g lte.

  • if you pay me twenty dollars I can take it and recycle it for you.

  • But I want 4G support!

  • Met my next Phone!!!!

  • Is it just me or did you just notice you were a fan of this kind of music after hearing it on this ad?... Ok maybe it's just me...

  • @farestabs me to.... yur not alone....

  • @farestabs same here :)

  • I am a nexus one owner (sending these comments from my youtube app) and I will definitely get this phone my only gripe with it is no sd expansion and no universal antenna system to work with all carriers( a true unlocked phone) however this is google's new baby so that alone should speak volumes to any true android fan and if you had any understanding of the OS it then becomes a no brainer this phone is a must have

  • To everyone complaining about no notification light... I feel your pain but there is an app to fix that which glows a single dot on the screen to notify you of alerts

  • Nexus One > Nexus S

  • @darktee do your research on dual core processors my friend and you will find out that they currently will make little to no difference in speed seeing as how whole os's must be built around them. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I don't believe at this stage in the game android even fully utilizes single 1ghz core technology. The hummingbird processor is the current champ however it has still yet to see its full potential. Dual core will remain a gimmick for months untill software catches up

  • @JevyJav true.. o and i heard that this nexus unit got delayed for release because theyre trying to run the new os on top of a dual core.. they finally figured it will fit in more with this single processor -1.2ghz am i right?..

  • Comment removed

  • The more I see the phone the more it pisses me off. Their main selling point is gingerbread, but with dual-core phones coming soon (I hope) why on earth would anyone want to buy this? I'm in a dilenma because I've been due for an upgrade for absolutely ages and I've always wanted an android. If this was the same price as the galaxy S I wouldn't mind, but to charge a hell of a lot more just for a LED flash and overhyped gingerbread is ridiculous.

  • SO

    Nexus S or Desire HD?

  • No memory expansion- why did Samsung divert from that? 16GB internal memory with EXPANDABLE MEMORY AVAILABLE was beast. Now, the nexus S is shit.

  • @xishobo possible to prevent rooting, but hackers are always going to find a way to get around it

  • Awesome phone, but id only get it if it were cheaper.

  • Google give us a good unlocked phone for less than $300 and we might actually buy it. The whole no contract premise/carrier independent idea is good but the $600 price is just too high. Thumbs up if u agree.

  • @knightinmiami Agreed, I don't get it.....I thought the whole point of this experiment (google nexus experiment) was to sell unlocked phones branded with Android OS, then eventually create a crazy fast google wireless network which you could use for google voice making to make free calls. Google cellular would of course be free, but advertising would be in places . Unlimited everything. You know, putting all the other cellulars out of business.

  • @knightinmiami ehh here in norway we gotta pay 1000$ for that, 600 is cheap

  • @knightinmiami What do you expect.. This is most definitely the first step to freedom. None of that Apple bs.

  • @DumbItDowno8 : (in a slightly defensive tone) the first step to smart-phone freedom has already been defined by a bunch of smart individuals thru their forever-great-idea called jailbreak and unlock.

  • Comment removed

  • @knightinmiami: if its with contract, people will complain being tied and the bills facing them in the long run.. if its unlock, people complains about the phone's price. wtf ! Get a phone that suits your budget or just use payphones and spend your piggybank's coin!

  • @praetorarsonist69 thats so true

  • @knightinmiami even an iphone costs you 600+ without a contract, so what is your point?

  • @knightinmiami any unlocked smartphone will run you damn near $500 the only reason phones are " so cheap" here in america is because of the subsidies they can give us because of 2 year contracts that our networks are in love with.

  • @knightinmiami If you buy it with a carrier the carrier takes some of the price... buying a unlocked phone means the user must pay all or most production costs and other costs.

  • @knightinmiami imgine how mutch money whent on making the phone .it costs alot for a reason

  • @knightinmiami It costs like $29 per month? How is that too high?

  • @knightinmiami get the lg optimus with koodo, its around 150 unlocked

  • @knightinmiami if you get it with a contract its like 100 dollars. I got mine that way from sprint with an unlimited data.

  • Youtube should not be for advertising.

  • For me, the only reason for buying the phone would be for the gingerbread thingy. I know how much difference software can make to speed. Besides that, the phone looks dated at best. I still want an iPhone 4...

  • Samsung makes some decent looking phones, except for the back. I've used the Fascinate and the back plastic piece looks and feels cheap.

  • It's has same spec as Samsung Galxy S, but worse screen in some countries

  • Price?

  • Hear about that- super amoled nexus s just sale at UK and US. other country just can get the super clear LCD. What the FXXK! Unbelievable, google have this Discrimination selling behavior.

  • google nexus ass!

  • @MisterHeroy Google Nexarse*

  • Les Sans Culottes - Allô Allô

I FOUND THE MUSIC !!! ALLO ALLO

  • I hate samsung, I have a i7500, that should explain why i hate them, but its been tough, the plastic back has survived many many drops, the battery is useless i have a spare, performance has been terrible, but build quality great. wheres usb port on that, i hope still not STUPIDLY on the top, or how do you ever get a desk charger...

  • What song is this?

  • @SerotheoXAttackProof

Les Sans Culottes - Allô Allô

  • Samsung=HTC Wanna be.

they fooled htc for no amoled screen display so they can overtake htc's market share...

  • whats the song ;o

  • that is the downside of the Nexus S.

  • it would be nice if they weren't trying to be like apple with the "no led notifications" and no sd card slot. would have been a great buy it it had those two things, plus a tad bigger battery. and why can't this phone have a super amoled screen like the newer samsung phones?

  • @EmceeGeek

i was upset about the notificatons and sd card slot but as I looked at my nexus one I dont even have close to 16gb of memory nor do I think I will be reaching that point in the next year or 2 so ill be ok... and it does have a Super AMOLED screen

  • Comment removed

  • insert htc made device here

  • Thinking..

  • Hey google if you can hear this, the new nexus looks awesome. Other than the around $500 price tag I've heard about. -_-

  • ugly phone with its plastic body i prefer the nexus one better

  • nom nom gingerbread p:

  • seems the specs that google originaly planed for the nexus S now changed to the samsung orion (cortex A9 dual core)

  • im srry i have been buzy porting 2.3 whitout a sourcecode for a while now i have been out of the specs page, seems i was wrong and (what google planned) they changes the specs for the nexus S to be almost the same as the galaxy S, but to give you some evidence that the fastest android phone in CPU therms ATM is the nexus one with 2.2.1 on it go check out the official benchmakt from aurorasoftworks (official Android benchmakt tool) while the 2.2.1 droid X had the best GPU.

  • @omegaevangelion Im pretty darn sure the nexus s has a cortex A8 running at 1ghz as advertised on the official page. It has the exact same hummingbird cpu. Ram will probably be the same too, same with the gpu. Also may I add that the galaxy s is the best phone graphics wise so far. 90 million triangles. The galaxy s is samsungs flagship device. Nexus s lacks bluetooth 3.0. On the posative side, at least you like evangelion.

  • Great song. :)

  • @7Slate gingerbread will probably be ported to the galaxy s once its in everyones hands since the hardware is almost the same :)

  • Comment removed

  • @omegaevangelion Considering that no one has benchmarked this phone, I don't think that you're qualified to make that statement, especially since you're completely wrong about the Nexus S processor. It's a 1.0 GHz A8, single core. Maybe you should look at the product page.

  • whats with all the spinning?

  • @aeonlinux a technique used to make somthing look nicer.... you only see a glimpse of it ... i mena its nice but meh...could of made it nicer since its a GOOGLE phone...shit most of the htc slook nicer

  • @aeonlinux

    360 = Revolution

  • @aeonlinux It's a feature.

  • @aeonlinux What's with all the cheap plastic.

  • @kockgunner

I want no lead in my pocket.

Once it falls down, I'm happy that it is only plastic.

  • @aeonlinux

    Did you get dizzy too?

  • @aeonlinux i think that they think spinning = physical manifestation of being faster.

  • @illusionfyre Sure, if you are a Tasmanian Devil that is.

  • @aeonlinux it's fast

  • Hopefully with this OS you wont need REASONS to not buy an Iphone !

  • I have my galaxy s, pretty much the same thing

  • @qaizali Your Galaxy S doesnt have gingerbread

  • I'm getting this phone because 16gb is enough for me and I have a iPod touch it has a bigger better screen than the mt4g it is just as fast as the vibrant I think? And it has a flash it might not be a super phone but it is still cool and one of the best on tmobile

  • I'll keep my Nexus 1 :o)

  • i found the unlisted video inside this video!

  • @wwjoshdew where did you find it?

  • @anselmnoel like i am going to say! I want the nexus phone and I completed the challenge.

  • @wwjoshdew good luck then. hope you win today. since you're well ahead of me. i can't get anything in the playing field to respond. unless you're sending everyone on a wild goose chase. ;)

  • Damn, why can't this have been a GSM/CDMA phone? I wanted to get this on verizon. And just for the vanilla android. And the contour display. And the back and front cameras.

  • Nexus one rocks!

  • FUCK YOU!! I JUST BOUGHT GALAXY S!!!!!! NOOOOOOO!!!!!

  • @ChopSooyLee lol.I bought MILESTONE XT720

I need to buy nexus 1 or nexus s now!! trouble

  • @ChopSooyLee Galaxy S is still better. Samsung will update to gingerbread, just a litte patience. Nexus S has no expandable memory...

  • @unwired

    Ah for realll?

    That's a relief hahahah

  • @ChopSooyLee personally I would go for Galaxy S.

Galaxy S will soon have the Gingerbread...

  • Comment removed

  • @unwired Very unlikely, actually

  • @unwired no expandable memory? This isn't for me! i have a 16gb card with lots of music!

    I'd rather the Samsung Epic 4g I guess. . .

  • @ChopSooyLee just in! No 720p video recording, no removable battery, no 4g, no dual core, and more disappointments including if you paid for a 16gb or 32gb sd card, you can NOT put it in this phone because there is no expandable memory. Go return your sd card if you get this phone because you won't be able to use it. It looks nice, but they "downgraded" this phone!

  • @wwjoshdew The Nexus S has no removable battery? Are you sure? I hadn't heard that WOW!

Anyway I will have a car-charger and an extra home charger. Plus I will probably buy a new phone before the battery is not holding a charge anymore lol. I am a phone whore! LOL

  • @sabomnim628 what about the times your system isn't responding and a battery pull is required? Especially if your someone that uses android to it's full potential! You would have to take it and pay to have it serviced since you can't remove the battery and restart your phone. Let's just wait for the nexus two since this phone was thrown together so fast, without including stuff that all galazy s phones and the evo has? "lets just throw this out there and make the nexus two later". Google #FAIL

  • @sabomnim628 more likely an Iphone type of marketing...

  • Cool rockin' soundtrack.

  • which is better nexus s or the htc desire hd ? i dont know what to get i just want the best one thats worth the money

  • @gerz11111 bro im getting the nexus s its gets all the updates first and all the new apps first in the market but desire hd is pretty sweet with the new htc sense running so it depends do u want pure google or sense on top of google either way u cant go wrong bro

  • @moe407259 thanks :) i like bigger screens but i think the nexus s has better gpu ? there arent any good reviews on processors like hummingbird and snapdragon i dont want a laggy phone and nexus s as you said is pure google so it might be more stable :)

  • Nexus S is Unlocked by default, so it will work with any GSM carrier.

  • I want that phone.. it looks really nice, but I know its the first gingerbread out of the box phone and we're going to get some pretty awesome phones coming out so I'm waiting..

  • Les Sans Culottes - Allô Allô

  • @vengacheivs "Allo Allo"

  • uuuhhh nice phonee, but the song is nicer!!! whats the name of the song??

  • I'd buy that for a dollar!

  • @zahtmi ...robocop is the shiiiit!

  • @zahtmi damn u must be an iphone fan lol

  • @zahtmi lol apple fanboy

  • @iHackedLife I love Android, m not an Apple fanboy, its just i dnt find this phone attractive, the old Nexus looked better, m not much of a Samsung fan, HTC does better :)

  • @zahtmi Valid point.

  • Sad for the Samsung part and the bad gloss, apart from that it's a lovely machine

  • I really hate that song. so I'm not getting one. it has nothing to do with my current Samsung captivate contract.

  • sure no HSPA+ but really 7.2mb/s down is not bad at all,,,,

  • @MyStuff774 LOL

  • @MyStuff774 I thought iPhone didn't have true multi-tasking? It pauses apps so you can continue to read lifestyle magazine in Starbucks w/out killing your battery.

  • @MyStuff774 your kidding right? I have an Ipod touch and a samsung galaxy s same dang thing I like my Ipod but you have a problem. people dont think this is what Ios users are like cause there not

  • I haven't got any android phone yet, would anyone recommend this?

  • @sonybutnownokia

    droid line is better

  • @wac209 It's the same specs as the droid line, but you might have to wait for the Droid line to get gingerbread, and Droid doesn't have RFID or front facing camera.

  • @wac209

Are ya sure cus whats important to me is I make notes a lot so if I can sync them with my computer hat would be really cool, and tell any 2.2 upgradeable devices of Motorola

  • @sonybutnownokia

any android phone you can do that

  • @sonybutnownokia depends what company are u on?

  • @johnnymgl16

Well according to my needs I think I gotta go for samsung but lets see cus I got symbian which is good enough but not that cool, so I think samsung would be better
