What a great guitar player Glenn Tipton is, so accurate and clean and he makes it look so easy and on top of that Rob´s singing is beyond awesome the band was at it´s best that year
The stage and lighting setup for this tour was RIPPING...add that with the undeniable CHOPS of the PRIEST....and you've got one hell of a concert.....
Why does the crowd sound has been ripped off the recording ? 20 000 persons...should have been one hell of a crowd this day, why didn't they record it propely ? :(
Setlist: Hell Bent For Leather Grinder Hellion/Electric Eye All Guns Blazing The Sentinel Metal Gods Nightcrawler The Ripper Beyond the Realms of Death Metal Meltdown (intro) Riding on the Wind (Scott Travis solo) A Touch of Evil Victim of Changes Painkiller The Green Manalishi Breaking the Law Living after Midnight You've got Another Thing Comin'
@TheHBK4ever They played Metal Meltdown only one time with Halford. Live version in horrible quality is avalible on youtube and it's recorded in Toronto 1990. =)
@TheHBK4ever they played it like 2 times, the fist time is in youtube but only the chorus and middle section, and there is a video with the intro solos and riding on the wind, and there is a full perfomance of the song with "good" quality, just type it
The band of my life, of my soul, of my heavy-metal dreams!
I keep listening to Judas Priest for more than 30 years and I will listening to them even when I'll be an old rock fan dude. Anyway, hope I'll getting old.
At least as old as Halford, the greatest heavy metal singer of all times! :)
It is truly amazing judas priest's Longevity== in the early nineties Priest were considered very much old school heavy metal - to have them playing 21 years later is well scarily awesome-
Thank you SO much for putting this up. I was at this show. I worked at a record store warehouse (Harmony House) at the time. Priest came in for a private luncheon. They were THE coolest guys ever (well, Scott came off as kind of a "rockstar")! Rob asked if I was going to the show. I told him I didn't have the money for a ticket. He calls over the road manager and told him "Make sure he's on the list.". Got a bunch of stuff signed. It was one of the greatest days of my life! Thanks again.
Thank you ever so muck for posting this concert from December, 1990 in Detroit. I was wondering if someone would post the full concert & you didn't disappoint us fellow Priestheads. Thank you again.

Ahh back when Rob could hit those high notes. Now he lets the audience do it for him. Too bad we must all get old.

@borisinin Hell bent for leather, also the name of an older album, look it up. I like the 'classic' stuff better than some of the newer stuff.
