  • y is it called an electric vehicle?

    batteries do not store electricity.

what is wrong with a small motor that the volt has to drive the car period

  • "most families in this country have more than one vehicle" What country?

  • If the gas engine is never used, it will be a problem. Imagine your car parked one entire year.

I think Prius concept is better..

  • @IFoundMyUsername There is a maintenance mode that runs the engine for a while if it hasn't been run for an extended period of time, so this is not an issue. Maintenance mode also keeps track of how long the car has had a particular tank of gas, so bad gas running through the engine won't be an issue either.

  • @DrunkenMcWasted Thank you.

  • Chevy is really innovating their cars. I am really impressed. they've come a long way since the Cavalier!

  • Another piece of SH!T from GM!! If they had any balls they would bring back the EV-1. My best guess is it ain't gonna happen because big oil owns GM.

  • Plug your car into an electrical outlet that is being provided power by a power plant burning coal to provide power. In 5 years this car will be as important as the Yugo was 5 years after it was brought to market. But I guess its all about "good intentions" rather than being functional. Bravo GM!!! Once again you accomplished nothing.

  • @22reTOYOTA Have to walk before you can run bubba. Ever herd of a solar power charger ? As the grow in tech electric cars become more & more viable & your rhetoric & doubt less & less sensible.

  • @NotJoe101 Im glad you have such optimistic view. But GM better learn to walk pretty quick, Honda and Toyota are passing them up. Solar power has been available since the 1960s for private use. I dont know of anyone who relies on it. America is sitting on the largest reserves of LPG in the world, Why do only 3% of the nations cars using it? Power plants rely on coal to burn (obama hates that) while France gets 80% of its power from the atom. Like I said, Good intentions.

  • @22reTOYOTA Until American Capitalists crawl out of the cave, stop pouting & start investing, those countries & more will continue to leave us in the dust,we will keep sending our children to die & kill for fossil fuel until it runs out. At which point the world will be so far ahead of us ,Neanderthal Capitalists will REALLY have something to cry about. The tech is there, nuke is a natural disaster away from irreversible damage. Why take such an ignorant gamble when safer means exist ? Greed.

  • @NotJoe101 Well Im glad to know there is one more anti-capitalist out there. Those damn greedy companies like Microsoft,Apple.Google, and YouTube should be shut down.

  • @22reTOYOTA I`m not so much antiCapitalist as antiGreed & ignorance, which seem to be perpetually holding hands in America today, lol. I also like to remind people Democracy is not raw Capitalism, that becomes a Plutocracy, which is just about where we`re at. On the flip side I`ll use the immortal words of Hubert Humphrey "Compassion is not weakness, & concern for the unfortunate is not socialism." I`m for a balanced, regulated & controlled Democracy that assures everyone equal rights & Opportunity.

  • @NotJoe101 How far does a "Balanced,Regulated and Controlled" Democracy have to go before its called socialism? King obama has those same thoughts. Have you seen his approval ratings lately? Pelosi and Reid share the same ideas. See what happened last mid term election. America is a young country (234 years old) but we turned into a economic and military superpower in that time. Govenment did not do it. Free enterprise did. Nothing erases equal rights like a welfare state.

  • "Chevy Volt How It Works". GM makes $1000 and the tax payers pay GM $7500 per car sold. Chevy Volt=tax payer ass raping.

  • Did he say the gas genorator was an option? I was pretty certain its standard and for that price, it should be.

  • @DroidNoid

    You're an idiot.

I'm not even going to argue your points because you should be smart enough to know the answers. Read a book, goddamn it.

  • GM is owning

  • @Jay500500500 More like GM is owning the tax payers. Each Volt is given a tax payer break by $7500 while GM is only making about $1000 per vehicle. So yeah the tax payers got wtf owned by GM and Obama.

  • Love the look of this and I get my electricity for free ( Solar and wind generators on house) When is this coming to Australia!

  • Wow so when you driving this thing on electric mode, the vehicle is carrying a havy engine lols, thats pretty stupid!

  • Detroit should only build one car,and be ordered to build it the way as it is now without mods!

    Google

    from-canada-to-mexico-on-one-tank-of-diesel

(copy and paste it and dont remove the lines)

    and click on jalopink result!

    100mpg PLUS folks!

  • Nice video, thanks!

  • The Tesla Model S is the best car period!

  • GM=junk.

But much like forcing us to buy government-approved health care plans, they'll probably force us to buy this POS, too.

I say the federal government force only environmental nuts to buy one. How could they complain? After all, using government force to take money from people is what they are all about.

    *shrug*

  • What we need are replaceable battery packs so that when you run out of "juice" your "empty" battery pack can be exchanged at a gas station (battery station?) for a "full" fully re-charged battery pack--NO RECHARGE TIME!

  • if we'd used electric cars from the start im betting that by now we would have batteries that would last as much as a regular tank of gas

  • Any chance you could post this vid with the correct aspect ratio?

  • this car seems slower than the prius.... hahaha!!!

  • @awesomeness2571 The only reason Priuses are slow is because of the tiny little four-cylinder (gas) engines they put in them. Not because of the batteries.

  • @yourwifecalledagain i know... but at least it takes up a little gas!

  • The concept design looked way sexier.

  • I just read in an article dated June 8, 2010 that GM is recalling about 1.5 million vehicles worldwide to address a problem with a heated windshield wiper fluid system that could lead to a fire.

  • At long last !! A car to give Toyota a run for it´s money !! Well done !! More cars like this USA !!

  • @kurt30001 Id like to see less cars like this, atleast price wise. Fucking $40,000

    Looks nice tho.

  • After all the concept designing is done, the Volt comes with a 1.4 liter gasoline engine? Who was the brainiac that came up with that idea. Seems like after years of research, chevy could have at least invented a smaller but silent half liter engine to keep the batteries charged and possible give the volt a non-stop range of 2000 miles instead of just 340.

  • Its actually not a gas engine, more like a gas generator. Power comes from the electric motors at all times. All the generator does is keep the battery from dieing.

  • It should have a charging system that you can just drive away from or a "break away" system safely at least. What if I'm in a rush and I drive away quickly without unplugging. By the way, good placement of the plug, to help on this issue a great deal. Still, Me American consumer. Me stupid.

  • that things actually a real big car, lookit that thing, it awesome

  • The fdny has a fireboat that was built in 1936 It is a diesel electric. Diesel charges batterys electric motors run the drive! The electric motors are original and still run great. This is old tech. That works! Man is the engine room cool! Westinghouse and ge stamped all over the place! Made in ny!

  • thats the same way trains work

  • I like this car. Nice concept. It was a concept car in 1969 in I believe a GM ad in Hot rod magazine. Only difference was that it had a hydrogen engine to charge the batteries. I am glad it finally has arrived!

  • Is the Compact Disc obsolete?

  • Enough with you ass clowns spewing that GM was bailed-out. You do realize that Toyota basically ripped-off GM copyrighted technology and produced in Japan for a long time before going International? The Japanese Keiretsu economic system is biased towadrs subsidizing their own companies, so why shouldn't the USA show favoritism or help its own for a change? I'm not saying that we should prop-up companies and remove free-enterprise dynamics, but the alternative of no US companies is worse.

  • AnimepimpYT is right and you "Riverdrinker" are another blowhard IDIOT that wants to knoack anything GM does. Even when they have a very promising product; you write falsely. The Volt has suppliers lined-up and the car is ready to go right now, but will not be mass produced until late Fall or early Winter until a full slough of tests are completed.

  • how many times do we need to bail these guys out

GM has just built the next

    VEGA

  • Consider that your power company's generators running at peak efficiency are more efficient that the 500 gasoline engines it replaces. Also coal, hydro, and nuclear power are mostly domestic products.

Also oil needs to be shipped from halfway across the world, refined into gas which is then trucked halfway across the country before being pumped into your car's inefficient engine.

I wish the electric range was greater and the price was lower - but will still consider this when it comes out!

  • very true

  • I like it, alot. Honestly, i would really concider buying one.

  • F*cking domestic car hating geeks.

Its not like you can't put gas in it and extend the range.

Go buy a Honda FCX that runs on hydrogen that takes electricity to make! Electricity made from fossil fuels.

    Talk about a flop

  • so its basically going to increase my electirc bill! either how is it 230mpg that they are claiming.. basically what they are proposing u generaly dont drive more than 40miles to and back from office. so you wouldnt be using the gas... overall on one fine day when u need gas u will be wowed by 230mpg car... what a dumb technology... better by a hybrid and run around the country.

  • you OBVIOUSLY are not very educated about how a car works.

  • Not gonna happen, huge American cars are unsustainable whatever fuel they run on. Tiny 'leccie scooters and public transport is the way!

  • its not huge.

  • By definition anything which seats four people is at least "big"

  • what definition you going by? because I wouldn't consider a Nissan Cube, or MINI copper as BIG. it's a mid sized vehicle.

  • Compared to the person it's carrying around it's big. That's why I don't like cars, they block the roads up.

  • The Volt doesn't work! It is still waiting for a battery! BUY A TESLA! It Works!

  • some people can't afford a tesla dumbass

  • The Tesla Model S will start at 49900.00 but the price will come down as it is massed produced. Just like when the calculator came out in the early 1970's and went for 400.00. Now you can buy them for a buck at a flea market. Think forward, not backwards. Tesla is still a better car than the VOLT anyway you look at it.

  • I am sorry for the other comment i left my cousin at my computer and he commented

  • rightly commented

  • so get a more expensive car with limited availability that wont be out for a few more years and cant be used like a normal car after the batteries burn out?

  • @YourPowerStation It seems to only be 16000$ more expensive than the Chevy Volt.. The Tesla so much better looking and so much more powerful and is a pure electric car that can travel far :)

  • @YourPowerStation Lots of people can't or wont afford a Volt. 40,000 for a piece of shit car like this? If you want to save on gas go grab a Ford Fiesta or something. You will never get all of your money back on gas when you are paying 40,000 dollars unless you are a taxi.

  • @YourPowerStation at est $41k the Chevy Volt isn't exactly affordable either. :\

"Gas-powered electric" is a creative, albeit funny-sounding workaround for GM.

  • @slyman86

    "the volt doesn't work!"

you provide no facts or sources to back them up. idiot

"it is still waiting for a battery"

uhh no, they are doing final evaluations on it now

"buy a $100,000 sports car instead!"

    wait wtf?

"it works" THEY BOTH WORK YOU UNEDUCATED IDIOT!

  • That is exactly why they should have been allowed to go under. Now because of the morons running our government, this crappy company as you call them will continue to foist crappy products on the public. I for one will never spend a dime on a car made by Government Motors.

  • your sir, are an idiot, don't not try to assume your uneducated ignorant opinion should be considered as fact by anybody

  • I am an uneducated idiot because I point out that GM was unable to compete in the open marketplace and had to come to the taxpayer to be bailed out? What incentive do they now have to produce a viable product if they know the Government will always bail them out? I am not trying to assume anything. I point out that they should have been allowed to fail. It is an opinion. You have an opinion because they differ that makes me idiot? Grow up

  • Gm is such a crap company. They canned the EV over 10 years ago and once they go under they are waving their electric car flag acting like it is some new technology. I am sure they will SLOWLY let out what they can do with it so they can squeeze out as many dollars from us as possible. Good old American value right?

  • American cars being unreliable is merely a stereotype. Most Chevy's are actually more reliable than other cars in their classes.

  • @MoAoX I agree. I have a 1990 Chevy Lumina and currently I have 283, 000 miles on the car. It has helped using a by-pass oil filter and a full flow filter along with using Amsoil but still how many times you hear people bad mouth American cars and yet I have a Chevy that is nearly 20 years old and has almost 300,000 miles on it.

  • Comment removed

  • MoAoX: It's not just a stereotype. I have a subscription to Consumer Reports, and they indicate that GM automobiles are inferior. Consumer Reports does scientific automobile testing, they are not-for-profit, and they do not accept advertisements, so they are not biased.

I owned a Chevy Cavalier, and it was a piece of crap. I spent THOUSANDS of my hard-earned dollars on repairs. It made me late for work many times and left me stranded.

  • @TranCendenZ

Consumer Reports is about as biased as it gets, Toyota could mass-produce a big piece of shit(literally) and they would recommend buying it. I owned a 2005 Chevy Impala, and it never broke down, except I needed a new transmission, but that's all. Sold it for a Camaro, and this is even better. Chevy makes great cars, but the American stereotype still exists. Sure, you got a bad car, but I owned a Camry that had Transmission problem, broken struts, and a few other problems in a year

  • MoAoX: Why would Consumer Reports be biased? They don't accept advertisements from auto companies. They will anonymously purchase the new car that they're testing from the car dealer. The testers at Consumer Reports scientifically test the products.

According to Consumer Reports, the 2005 Impala had major problems with engine cooling, transmission, and drive system. The "Used Car Prediction" of the Impala is poor, which means that the resale value of the Impala is very low.

  • Consumer Reports is not always unbiased. Many industry rankings put GM ahead or even with other competitors.

  • Like kvlai said. Diesel locomotives have been using this technology for decades. So why are are the automotive companies just adopting this technology?

  • So where do we get the electricity to power these cars? If the Copenhagen treaty is signed, electric companies will up their rates and pass it on to us. Brilliant.

  • Actually, Diesel locomotives largely operate on electricity generated by an electric engine. They don't have the large battery storage for full electric like the volt. But honestly, it is a good question. My opinion is probably related to the oil industry and tie ups with the auto industry.

  • dude this car looks good !

  • It is exactly like the "diesel electric locomotive" and its not supprising. You know; those diesel/electric trains in the 60's mostly in Britain & other Common Wealth countries. How come it took so long for this technology to travel from the train to the automobile. Thats the "odd" question? Please comment

  • looks a bit like the Opel Ampere. Now wonder it´s the same companie.

  • This is the best technology to date... the VOLT technology will be copied ... we will be seeing more electrics. I'm hoping that hydrogen fuel cell electrics are not far away...

  • pjkPA: The Chevy Volt is NOT the best technology to date. The upcoming Nissan Leaf gets an "equivalent" of 367 mpg, and it will be priced competitively with the next-generation Toyota Prius.

People who are interested in "eco" cars are unwilling to spend $40,000 for a Chevy Volt. Maintenance costs will be high if reliability is consistent with past GM cars.

  • Like I said .. it will be copied. A popular major in Japanese colleges is patent searching. The cost of the initial Volts will be $40K less $7500 tax credit. GM makes the BUICK brand rated as the most reliable brand for the last three years (JDPOWERS) unlike Nissan which has never been close. And by the way ...unlike the Prius in the US .. Japan will keep the Volt out of Japan just like they do will all our products.

  • pjkPA: The Japanese government does NOT keep American cars out. The overwhelming majority Japanese consumers simply are not interested in American cars. In the past, American cars have gotten horrible ratings in Consumer Reports magazine, and Japanese cars have gotten outstanding ratings.

Harley-Davidson has 35% of the large motorcycle market (bikes over 751 cc) in Japan--so it depends on what the American product is.

There's no conspiracy to keep American goods out of Japan.

  • Wrong... a Chevy Cobalt costs over $45,000 in Japan... that's what I call keeping American products out... the Japanese don't buy our cars because the Japanese government puts a tariff of over $20,000 on each one... how many Hondas would sell in the US if they cost $20,000 more... they don't just do that to American cars either.. the total of all imported cars in Japan is about 1% ... and Harleys cost twice as much in Japan also after tariffs.

  • pjkPA: Please tell me your source that proves that the Japanese slap on tariffs that would make the Chevy Cobalt cost over $45,000 to the Japanese consumer.

Why would the Japanese want a Cobalt anyway? Consumer Reports states:

"The Cobalt falls short of the best small cars. Its 2.2-liter engine is noisy and relatively thirsty. Handling isn't agile. The steering is too light at low speeds. The rear seat is not roomy, even by small-car standards. Interior fit and finish is unimpressive."

  • Why aren't we charging a $20,000 tarrif on Japanese products? That would solve the Toyota problem very quickly

  • rsh323s: Why doesn't GM stop building overpriced, unreliable junk? That would solve the problem.

  • an engine with 1 moving part, unreliable? and there build quality is getting much better, even the interior is nicer than a priuses

  • EatmyDust1311: You can't really compare one Volt to one Prius. The Volt has an estimated price of $40K. The starting price of a Prius is $21K.

Even if the interior of the Volt is slightly nicer, would the consumers rather have TWO Prius cars (one for him and one for her) or ONE Volt (to share)?

  • @TranCendenZ That price will come down just like all new products start up with a higher price and then the price comes down over time. Just think you could drive without using any gas with the Volt. The Prius is still a primary gas car with an electric back up whereas the Volt is a primary electric car with a gas generator as a back up. This concept has been working for over 50 years now with the Rail companies using diesel electric engines.

  • kermitefrog64: We're talking about automobiles here. The prices go up as time passes. Every 4 to 6 years, the automaker will slightly redesign a successful model and increase the price. If the model is a failure, then it will be discontinued.

  • pretty shit technology

  • oil burning cars are out. large stupid idiot boxes are out. all electric and alternatives. maintain luxury in a smarter and safer way and the volt is not it. tons of steel is also unneccessary so forget about big oil. what about big steel? we got so many boots on our necks something has got to give. i hope it is not our spinal chords.

  • All they do is tease us! Its always just a few years away. "They're coming soon." - Did you notice? still they are only talking about another gas burner with an electric motor. Its a bunch of crap.

    We have to demand innovation!

Seriously, it's time for us to invent our way out of this bullcrap. We can build our own electric cars and flood the streets with them.

  • they should put a small gas turbine engine in it to recharge the batteries and supply enough power to keep the car moving simultaneously. ... think of the possibillities with this drivetrain!

  • otta my way electric motor, gas powered big block comming thru

  • Do people not comprehend that electricity costs more than gasoline?

Don't bitch when you get a $500 light bill.

  • ummm, electricity per mile will be less than gas per mile

  • ok hmm? How can I use this car when I live in NYC, WhereTF im I going to plug it? hmm...?

  • you don't get to use it.

  • That may be true, but the main issue I am concerned with is that the backbone of the electric grid is powered by fossil fuels.

Many other countries are powered by Nuclear Power, yet the United States has refused to build any new power plants.

  • This would be great for me in highschool when i get my license.

Just a short drive to the school from my house, and there will hopefully be used ones available when i get my license :D

  • 40k yes, but about 7500 in tax credits, considering the price of some other mid size sedans 32k is in the ballpark for some. Cheap, no, but unique/special interest yes!

  • this could of been done a long time ago but "someone" decided to kill the electric car

  • yes some General Moron did it !

  • Yess the electric car is dead?? PLEASE LET IT BE DEAD!!

  • @jrrydha IMO, this could not have been done "a long time ago". You may be underestimating how much better batteries have gotten and how much microprocessor "intelligence" is needed to make this car and its on board charging system function seamlessly.

  • @jrrydha This is really a stupid comment. There has to be a market for electric cars and there wasn't. There still isn't. You don't waste millions upon millions to make someone like you sleep good at night lol. Business thrives on demand.

  • how would the air conditioning and heating working in this vehicle?

  • 230?

  • 230 Miles Per Gallon/City Driving!!!

Only bad thing is that its costs 40,000 to buy.

If 10 percent of American's bought this car it would be like taking 80 percent of all cars in the us off the road. That would make a massive dent in greenhouse gases, and end the addiction to oil. Only if GM was still a public traded company... I would be in big. Ford went from 1 to 8.50 in 6 months!!! This is going to be a renaissance for American car companies.

  • ya 40k is a bit much

  • can you develop a car any less expensive? It took over 5 years to develop the technology for the batter in this vehicle so it can be in hot and cold weather climates.

  • the tesla roadster also can only go that far in one day and costs 100k+

  • The Tesla Roadster is completely electric and goes 250 miles on a charge and 3.9 second from 0-60 . Too bad the volt is so behind technologically. It isn't even starting production until November 2010.

  • The Concept that Chevrolet applied to the Volt is an excellent idea. This is an electric car with a gasoline engine to replenish the battery. Meaning you can travel far without worry. The Tesla Roadster is an excellent car, but its range can not take you from San Francisco to Los Angeles. And it will be less reliable when driving out of town. Tesla makes excellent pure electric cars however. But the Chevy Volt will be a seller.

  • I agree it is an excellent idea - It was a concept in the 60s as I have an ad GM put in a magazine back then. It was the same concept. I will buy one but I should have been able to in the 80s. Thanks-

  • About your comment over 12 months ago. The Chevrolet Volt has now been released to the public. I have yet to test drive one but so far reviews have been a positive one.

  • The Tesla Roadster is very expensive and you will have to stop and recharge after 250 miles. Meanwhile the volt will still be traveling as far as you want to go on minimal gas use to generate the electricity.

  • You are correct. It is expensive. It is really a concept car and the lower cost models are going into production soon. The Volt looks pretty good but it is not in the show rooms yet. I really like the idea of eliminating gas completely. Many people don't have to drive more than 250 miles very often so this works for most.

  • Yeah, too bad the Telsa is over $100k.

  • True but the Tesla roadster is not for everyone- It is a performance vehicle proving this is possible with a completely electric vehicle. The Tesla Model S is is the commuter car - 300 mile range per charge and 45 minute Quick Charge

    - 0-60 mph in 5.6 seconds

    - Seats 7 people. It is in the 50K range.

  • what the hell does it matter how fast it goes when youre using this car mostly in california where there is heavy traffic if not traffic jams on every highway or city street. Its not made to race its made to be economical which most amercians are confused what that word means.

  • You're correct. The speed just shows people that it is not a golf cart but a real car.

  • the volt has 150 hp

  • @etbarden Although generally speaking electric cars are faster than gasoline cars.

  • wut an ugly longg car

  • yeah i agree gm needs to quit their crap and get down to bussiness they had a perfectly good electric vehicle that worked great back in the late 1990's but decided they werent going to sell it just lease it only to try to make a point that an electric vehicle was not possible to mass produce yet but what they didnt count on was toyota making an electric vehicle using the same technology and was successfull and fully functioning contradicting gm's statement that the technology wasnt availableyet

  • you idiot, that's 40 miles of electric-only RANGE, then the gasoline generator kicks in to charge the batteries.

  • yea seriously u Romanias obviously dont know how to listen to a video

  • todavia no vi NI 1 SOLO VIDEO en el que testeen al maximo este auto ni siquiera un solo video de 0 a100. cuanto mierda levanta esta poronga?

  • I would have died if that guy fell when he went to get into the car over the electrical chord

  • it is the same as opel ampera

  • I heard the two were designed in cooperation with each other.

  • its good only if it exist or its proven and its profitable

    but none of the above

  • The Volt can go 40 miles on 8 kWh of elec. Most of us won't use all 8 kWh very often, so the gas usage will be nominal. This car is designed for the 80% of drivers that average 10-15,000 miles per year. At 14,000 miles yr, you'd use something like 2600 kWh a year, or $260 yr for electricity. Most will use about 2 gallons a month. The elec is about 31 * 7.1 kWh * .10 cents a kWh = about $22 in electricity, and if you add the 2 gallons of gas, your monthly fuel bill just dropped significantly.

  • We are the king of technology. How come our automakers always behind? we trained the japanese. now, they managed to out smart us in arena. let's just hope, they would never outsmart us in making bombs, so they wont bomb us for what we did to them in world war 2

  • if they mix the engineers for the volt with the ones from ford who designed the escape hybrid, they could really go somewhere higher than this, but all around it looks like a good idea

  • It's in the right step for GM. I would love to have this car, but I live in a apartment complex. I would need an extension cord for this car. If they use solar power energy on top of the roof to keep the battery charged, that would be more beneficial.

  • Its not an al electric vehicle, its a plug-in series hybrid. Similar to the 100mpg plug-in Prius, except the Prius is a parallel hybrid.

  • Something i realized while watching this video and i've never heard anything about this subject, but, how much electricity/energy is this actually pulling out of your socket at home? Is this going to spike up your energy bill every month?

  • Actually, If you charge it at night you would bearly noticed the increase in your electricity bill. If you keep doing that, you will save a ton of money (if you keep recharging when the 40 miles are up) vs constantly buying fuel in a normal vehicle even at today's prices.

  • Voltec is expected to use 8 kwh electric energy while driving. Under optimal conditions 40 miles AER is achievable at 200 wh/mile consumption. Since batteries are not 100 % efficient (80-90), another 1.5 kwh will be required to fully recharge. The T-pack has 16 kwh onboard, only half is ever tapped to reduce battery strain and improve battery life. Cost of recharging is a function of cost per Kilowatt-hr. Expect a recharge at $0.90 - $1.80.

  • That would be about 2 to 4 cents a mile, lets see somebody get that kind of mileage out of a gas powered car.

  • Good video, Kelly!

  • so if you live in a city, like say New York City, and park on the street, then this car's not for you, eh? No place to charge it...

  • ugly why can't they make sqaure cars any more? why always round?

  • for the same reason airplanes, missles, and submarines aren't square.

  • I wasen't asking for the technical reason, I just don't want a complete round car, the aerodynamics doesn't matter that much on a car normally driving 45 MPH

  • whos drives at 45 MPH? i normally drive 60 or so

  • People in rush hour traffic would be happy to push 10MPH...haha

  • Hes talking about distance how far that you travel

  • on a normal street ud be charged wit a felony if caught by a strict cop so hav fun

  • yea they do drag is drag even at 10 miles/h

  • Need more cars like that to come out soon..real soon

  • Why?

  • nice car
