There are apparently over 200 questions that JK Rowling created for this sorting and 7 are chosen randomly for your sorting. I personally think that the sorting is fair since there are random questions that are chosen for you. I won't mind it much if I'm sorted into Huffelpuff. The questions are based on your own personality, you just have to choose which one fits yourself the best. Then your chance will be bigger to get into that house.
There's nth wrong with it, there are the house doesn't determine the people in it. If you have a gd attitude then your house will benefit, that's all that matters.

At first I was a taken aback for being placed in hufflepuff, I always thought I identified with Ravenclaw, but upon reading the welcome speech, I felt more like I DID belong, I'm such a nature loving person and care of magical creatures would be my favorite class. I really love our common room and our cactus bob. Hufflepuff badger doesn't give a shit, it just takes what it wants.

This video is really cute and is obviously made to be amusing and not insulting. I'm also someone who got sorted into Hufflepuff but still consider myself more like another house. I can see why my answers to a couple of questions leaned towards Hufflepuff but honestly some of the questions were kind of silly...left or right lol. Basically to me Pottermore is just something fun. If you don't agree with the sorting you don't have to consider yourself in that house. Even Harry got to pick! : )

Hufflepuff is the best house. I hate that some newly sorted hufflepuffs choose to leave...kinda shows how they aren't loyal enough to be in the house for the loyal people. I'm so proud of being in Hufflepuff; I love the common room and the ideals. And, of course, we are particularly good finders. :D Long live Hufflepuff!

The point is, you are what you are...I can say without a shadow of a doubt that I am a slytherin...I just know that I have those traits, even if I respond with complete honesty, I would end up in slytherin....if you're a hufflepuff, its no big deal...you belong to Digory's house...which is pretty cool....I mean he was only one in all of Hogwarts to be chosen for the triwizard cup...he obviously had some talent! :)

I'm sorry that I cannot answer your question towards why the house is so even but the questions are given to you in a random order. There are apparently over 200 questions that JK Rowling created for this sorting and 7 are chosen randomly for your sorting. I personally think that the sorting is fair since there are random questions that are chosen for you. If you answer honestly it is fair, if you cheat, not fair because you aren't being fair to yourself.This is my opinion :)

I won't mind it much if I'm sorted into Huffelpuff. The questions are based on your own personality, you just have to choose which one fits yourself the best. However, if you want to be in a certain house, think about what kind of personalities the houses have themselves, and base your answers on those personalities. Then your chance will be bigger to get into that house.
