Great song. I have the compilation, although I'm disappointed to learn that this is just a remake of a song from the '60's by The Troggs. Don't get me wrong - I quite like this song and this version more than the original... I'm just disappointed that a few of the only really good songs on the compilation are all just remakes. I was hoping for more quality original tunes.

I believe that a cover that bends and twists a pre-existing song to fit into a particular artist's style, a song that bears up to reinterpretation, is just as valid a contribution to song as a whole a something new.

Doubly exciting because of potential aural recognition, insight into how the artist interprets music as opposed to others with different sensibilities.
