Saw "Ghost" again on AMC tonight and couldn't help but think of this. "It's amazing Molly, the love inside, you take it with you..." I have a feeling he's there from time to time, be sitting in a chair there in the bedroom, watching his wife sleep. May he be remembered and be at peace.

He becomes very emotional about his father's death, yet he shows no emotion for his own impending death. For some reason, this seems to be a human charateristic.
Nearing the end of his life, he doesn't know what happens next.
Cancer should be a top priority, not war... Cancer has taken so many of our greatest people and loved ones. Our war should be with ourselves and this disease we all have inside us with a potential to kill us..

Yes cancer is a monster, it is a sneaky disease which strikes you without notice. I have seen many healthy people who eat and exercise properly, don't smoke or drink and STILL they get cancer. I don't know what to say ....

My friend had 20 years when her father died. He had cancer of pancreas. He died at age 42. Two months after diagnose. In last stage he was in induced sleep. That was shock, because he was so young. Forsook 3 children. at age 20, 17 and 12.
FUCK CANCER! Is there anything more important for medical since to find a cure for? No one is immune to it so we r all at risk so find a fucking cure for it! PS could have shown self-pity, but he was a tough man.

Without treatment he would have died in 3 months. However, with the chemotherapy and other medications he lived for more than a year I believe. When u have something terminal like pancreatic cancer you aren't very picky when faced with ur own mortality. Patrick understood how serious his situation was and choose the treatment.

Today you are still missed by a lot of people. He in my top ten list when it comes to the worlds greatest actors. I really enjoyed watching his movies and watching The Beast. It is sad because he was only able to do one season. A&E could bring the show back for a second season but it would not be any good because Patrick Swazye is gone. Three years ago i lost my mother of the same thing cancer is not picky or predjudes. My mother was 52. She was fortunate enough to experience being with the man of her dreams and so was patrick my heart goes out to you Lisa.
Sorry to hear that... My grandfather passed away from bile duct cancer and it took him so fast.. I just noticed one day his skin was yellow so we took him in and they gave him 1 month to live.. he passed away 3 weeks later... Cancer is a very merciless disease...

This man was a Spartan! He was facing something most of us will never face and he did it with so much strength and love. I can't believe he would still go to film a show and he actually finished the season out. Wow, with all the pain and he still wanted to work when most of us would have given up and gotten on pain meds he didn't. OK. I am a 29 year old black man. 10 years ago, I had leukemia. I am now in full remission and doctors call it a cure. I was in tears throughout this whole interview. You can see the pain that he is in in parts of the interview. However, he is a strong man and we should all feel better that he doesnt have that pain anymore. I have no more words......

It was a total shock to me when I heard Patrick Swayze had cancer! He was always the picture of great health. He lasted a long time with his disease.
He was such a brave dude and such a great star.

Three years ago i lost my mother of the same thing cancer is not picky or predjudes. My mother was 52. She was fortunate enough to experience being with the man of her dreams and so was patrick my heart goes out to you Lisa.

Sorry to hear that... My grandfather passed away from bile duct cancer and it took him so fast.. I just noticed one day his skin was yellow so we took him in and they gave him 1 month to live.. he passed away 3 weeks later... Cancer is a very merciless disease...

For any of you that want to show disrespect, your judgement day will come so you should watch what you say. He was a wonderful dancer and was a loving and faithful husband even though he was the SEXIEST man alive. He could have had anyone but he was a genuine gentleman and very talented human being, This is a tragic loss. RIP Patrick, your were truly an inspiration!

This man was a Spartan! He was facing something most of us will never face and he did it with so much strength and love. I can't believe he would still go to film a show and he actually finished the season out. Wow, with all the pain and he still wanted to work when most of us would have given up and gotten on pain meds he didn't. It's truly amazing & he really is a role model for people who get depressed over stupid shit. He gives us all a wake up call to value our lives and freedom! Much Love!

OK. I am a 29 year old black man. 10 years ago, I had leukemia. I am now in full remission and doctors call it a cure. I was in tears throughout this whole interview. You can see the pain that he is in in parts of the interview. However, he is a strong man and we should all feel better that he doesnt have that pain anymore. I have no more words......

I never knew much about the man until I saw the first part of this interview. I was instantly intrigued by his persistence in his pursuit towards happiness. He was a true hero, warrior, and 100% REAL MAN. RIP, Patrick, glad you're with your dad now. Great fight dude
