@dumbleisforme most cars don't flip when drifting, (unless you hit a wall or something) but if it's a worry, just lower it a little, modify the suspension a some, shocks, sway bars, etc... It does wear the engine a little quicker, but the biggest damage it'll do is to the tires. But then, I'm no drift expert, it's just what I've seen and observed.

its my understanding that cars like these are much cheaper and easier to get a hold of in japan than many other parts of the world, like here in Norway, if i bought a s14 it would cost me about half the price of the car i have now just in monthly insurance.

There are a few good spots to drift in my town but the cops are very strict if u even have a street race meeting or even just friends with stock cars the cops will find a way to stop u from meeting or find a way to give u a ticket.they will sit and wait for us to screw up just to give us a ticket.oh and now they given people tickets at random even if u never did any wrong they will give u a ticket just to meet their deadline.

in japan street drifting is considered a serious crime because it is so common. there are cops too, its just that in japan if the police man knows he can't catch up to your car, they let you get by but inform the next officer.

@kinglynx It depends on where you drive. On the highway, cops will chase you even if you drive faster than 300km/h. But on the normal streets, cops won't chase you cuz it's too dangerous to. But they would take photos of your car and license plate. Watch out

@s14zen Hey I was wondering if that black car is a Toyota Chaser JZX100 with the 2JZ engine in it? I thought it was silvia at first with with an RB26DETT swap, but it definitely has a bulky sedan body and I know the 2JZ is very similar to the RB26DETT

@CHRISGT34 if you look at the tail lights it's a JZX100 Mark2. I don't think it's a 2jz.. I believe it belongs to Haraguchi... a member of a loco Chiba-ken drift team called TEAM MAGICIAN. I just met up with him this pas March.

@s14zen It is a Mark II indeed. I've been doing some research on them. The Chaser taillights are definitely different. And the engine is probably 1JZ I6 with maybe HKS exhaust mods due to that distinct sound.
