  • Such an underrated movie, great memorable characters, hilarious and smart dialogue and an awesome cast.

It's as if it was created to be a cult movie.

  • This movie reminds me a book by Edward Bunker that i red few years ago, "Dog Eat Dog", it's almost the same story. Treat Williams would have been perfect to play "Mad Dog" for those who knows the book.

  • "He Don't mind much"

  • Boat drinks

  • @funkmystar buckwheats!

  • Obey to Critical Bill

  • Great movie!

  • One of the best forgotten movies, left in the shadows of Pulp Fiction.... sad....

More a cult film than Pulp ever hoped to be... but Quentin sucked for bucks!.....

    Hollywood.........

  • @laaxe Shows how much u know...although a big name now, Miramax was actually an independent company when Pulp was made & was bought by a big name studio after it was made. I dont think anybody "hopes" for a cult movie & I'm sure at the time Tarantino was as surprised as anybody that it did as good as it did. Also heralded for reviving Travolta & Willis's careers & making a superstar out of Jackson. That being said I love this movie .....those who havent seen it dont know what theyre missing.

  • @RamseyRules Shows how much I know. Miramax (Max & Mira's son's company) released both films. I was working on Denver before Pulp was released. Upon Pulp's noteriety, Disney (who had purchased Miramax a couple of years earlier), essentially buried Denver. No promotion, nada. Tarantino, already known for his "cult film" (niche audience) Dogs, descended into his "sub-plot" method of storytelling, and hasn't truly recovered, or equalled Pulp since. The Bill's were fun, but nowhere close to Pulp.

  • @laaxe lol Or you could have said how most people who know films know them as the Weinsteins. Wow, how long was Denver in production since it wasnt even released until 95. And I dont think Quentin had found his "niche audience", even though Reservoir was good....because I dont remember a buzz about him in 92. Pulp made him and got him in touch with the masses in 94. 1995 was a decent year for some movies & I think this one got buried under The Usual Suspects. Did you work on Killing Zoe?

  • @RamseyRules Shooting began in Denver mid summer of '93 (missed my son's 1 day of school), through October. Shooting resumed in January '94 for only about 4 weeks, being Dagney's apartment & Walken's mansion, a great Beverly Hills location known as Greystone. Why it wasn't released until '95? Thinkin' you don't put films like this against Summer blockbusters, and maybe being so similar (darkness) to Pulp, it might simply have been too close for Miramax/Disney. Strange! No Zoe, but lots more! lol

  • ide say thats the best way to train

  • Love this movie, some really great memorable characters.

"Beg! Or i make you suck my dead dick!"
