  • I doubt it would be leuco dyes, since all the ones I've seen have two, maybe three colors (like a pH indicator)... this would be really cool if it were a liquid crystal paint with a UV-protecting clear-coat.

I'm making some color-changing hookahs (the brown, colloidal glass for pipes is ugly i.m.o., so I'm going for a rainbow thermometer thing)... I like making the glass, and I'm formulating a LC/solvent mixture to get a nice range of colors.

    Good job, btw.

it is good to find someone knowledgable.

good guess, but the composition is not based on liquid crystals.

i can use just one or many (as many as i want) different colours in a single composition

and can have any of the colours change at any temperature i choose.

the coposition is so tightly bound that it will react to pressue and heat.

it is an original invention which is why it is patented.

  • how do i get some for my zx 10

  • @tameshajones

    Hi ,

Got your message. You get the paint from me . It's my Invention. If you can help promote it , I will even give you a very good reduction on the price.

Plus you would have the first colour changing ZX 10 in the world ; which would probably be worth a lot of money.

  • Niceee, Arrie sent me BTW :D
