  • why is it that everything i look up for paint chip repair is a stupid ass ad for some shithole company

  • I have been in the business for 35 years, I still use lead paint to paint over the putty that I used to fill a "ding" I dont beleive in ding masters, those guys dont know jack crap, call me, I will paint your car with the roller I used to paint my crapper, by the way I still have some egg shell white left over, anybody need a touch up? I dont believ in using a laptop to color match a car, I simply use whats called my birds eye view and I gotta say my saheds are ususally pretty close....

  • been doing mobile paint for 15yrs..this guy sprayed primer over the whole back of the bumber for a 2 inch scratch,,another words he made a mountain out of a molehill,,very rookie

  • ...exactly why I try not to go to people who "have been in the business for "years and years and years". They have a tendency to be resistant to new techniques and technology. Whereas I'm sure it worked great for years... there can be a such thing as a newer way than you used to do "back in the old days".

  • @StuPadazzo no,wrong..your way is not new or better, its just wrong.ive been in the mobile buz for yrs as i said.you just dont know what your doing thats all.dont take it to heart.you think your way is new and better, its just old,and not right.there is nothing you do that hasnt been done a billion times better, faster, and in an easier way..sorry.i should post a vid to show how its really done, you would be amazed.plus the amount of matirial your using is a waste

  • @StuPadazzo you use glasurit??thats not very repair friendly stuff..its for collision/overall..not spot painting..its overpriced crap to be honest

  • @StuPadazzo new techniques and technology??what is new exactly?show me one new thing your doing here..just one,and ill eat my hat..anybody out there just starting out??looking to learn something here?dont watch this video..old technology here,in a new wrapper..sorry dude,i take my business seriously.ive painted thousand of bumpers, every one in a better way than your doing here..every one.your final product looks good but you used an old,old method, just face it

  • @guitar4johnc - Let me clarify. I know NOTHING about painting. Read my comments again. There's NOTHING in there about painting. My retort, as it clearly states, are MY reasons for not giving money (or the time of day) to people who make comments that imply that (to subjectively paraphrase) "my years of doing things one way and haven't been to a class on new technology for YEARS is the best way" is a good reason to avoid them. Read my original again... I'm mocking you and the "15 yrs comment"

  • @guitar4johnc - And to FURTHER clarify... I am NOT mocking people who have "15 years in the business" I am clearly stating that I hang my head at people who use THAT as support to back up their reasons for - going out of their way - to put other people's techniques down and say they are wrong based (solely) on "my years of experience". People who say things like that are saying to the world, "Hey everybody, look at me! I'm stuck in my ways. I've been doing this for years and can't change!"

  • Lol I know this is a year ago you posted but, you could always park in an enclosed area or watch your car for a few hours at a time once you see him shoot his ass with a net gun and keep him contained untill police arive.

  • Did y'all see how he back tapped for the primer so that he would not have a hard edge to sand. Good job.

  • Nice video - well done

  • Gustavo does great work....
