  • I'm now saving money to buy the Custom Shop! Than I'll have all the nice guitars I want!

  • I wish i had a gibson! :(

  • carvin are superior, prs are superior, esp are superior. gibson are just overpriced. they lost the magic they had in the past.

  • @dbsk8r92 Were talkin about GIBSON CUSTOM SHOP and not Gibson Factory.Carvins are not superior to Gibson CS, ESP are not superior to Gibson CS, PRS are not superior to Gibson CS. I've played all of those guitars and every other guitar that is suposed to be "superior to a Gibson". None of those guitars held up to their claim. Gibson CS are the best. PRS single cuts are nice, ESP are crap. Carvin is nowhere near anything I would touch. yes, LPs are expensive but their a KILLER guitar.

  • wow you guys are so lucky did they give you free guitars i wish i could take a look at how they build these awsum guitars

  • they suck so bad, why would gibson let them tour the shop?

  • kron294 you tube

  • Gibson should invest in a microphone.

  • 0:16 Thats gonna be the headstock for the Les Paul Ultima

  • GIBSON GUITARS ARE FUCKING OVER PRICED LAME ASS PIECES OF SHIT

  • @michaeltroke you haven head a custom shop model dude, usa s are a joke for the price but the custom shop models sound just like they did in the golden age. i own a sg standard reissue made there with the orignial maestro tailpiece, never believed an sg could sound bigger than a les paul. but it does kick away any usa les paul, and man an sg is just a thin pice of mahagony.

  • @HagusYoung ......infact i did play a customshop sg and a custom lespaul i dident like the lespaul but i did like the sg im just saying that every gibson guitar is far too over priced for what they are worth and plus most sound like crap and if i was looking for a great priced custom im going to carvin

  • @michaeltroke Dude I agree with you that they are too over priced

but, a Les Paul Custom isn't a custom shop

    P.S. Carvins are great

  • @Smillzer yeah i realized that right after i posted hehe

  • @Smillzer you mean buckethead or someone else?

  • Good video... I mean besides the terrible editing. I haven't seen editing this bad since Dragonball Evolution.

  • I got to hang with Stevie D and Keith a couple of times, we talked for a long time about guitars (and guns), they are both great guys and total guitar freaks like me, very discriminating and very knowledgeable, I wish them all the best.

    Lt. Joe

  • my new gibson j200 custom

  • I want a custom D:

  • ok TarbleSauce you can buy a nice gibson that is real from samashdirect or you can go on gibson's website and find the guitar you like and just click buy now then it will ask you wat state you want to buy in then scroll down and click one of the many stores \

    have fun buying !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Can someone tell me where I can buy legitimate USA made Gibson guitars? There are alot of fakes out there and I just want the real deal.

I live the the UK but don't mind buying one from the US.

  • ..In my time (I'm now over 60) I've owned (not just played) Gibson L50 / L5 / L5c / Super 400 and Byrdland... These ARE REAL guitars ..... Les Pauls (and yes - i've owned one of those as well) All the Gibson solids are nothin more than a plank of wood with 6 strings and a pickup... no matter how well they look or are made... There is no impovement with age as its only a string vibrating over a pickup ...

  • Well, IMHO this discuss is a lot of old rot....

Go play one guy, then you'll know what you like or prefer one of the other...

Simply its just a personal thing.....

  • hey which is better. a gibson les paul custom black colour or the same thing but a V.O.S version... and whats the difference between them

    "except the vintage look"

  • well that purely is the difference... the modern day custom is a modern day custom les paul... modern day technology is placed into a custom... but a VOS most of them anyway look as if you recieved the guitar back in which the year it was replicated e.g if you bought a 1959 les paul sunburst... it would look like it came out of the factory in 1958... same technology used as in 1958 and the wood is also aged some major key points i guess

  • thanks but which would better to buy.. not to compare price ... but the sound and quality?

  • if your in it for the sound hmm depends because the VOS guitars are aged they would sound alot warmer with a whole lot of pleasent tone also sounds awsome distorted... custom shop would sound i cant really describe it... your gonna have to find out the sound yourself by trying them both out... personally i want the 1957 goldtop vos :)

  • @Smillzer

ya man i saw them in anehim kicked ass

  • I saw buck cherry as the openining to KISS they sucked, however kiss was sweet

  • whats the song at the begininng?

  • sorry dude...sorry is the name of the song

  • Buckcherry can suck my rod.. I wanna see the custom shop, not their hack asses.

  • whats wrong with buying a chinese product? nothing is wrong, if you dont mind putting americans out of work...

  • true but chinese will work for nothin

  • I would like to see the tour of the custom shop factory. Who gives a flying F%^K about buckcherry.

  • Very cool and interesting video! Wouldn't mind taking my son on a tour like that! :)

  • Awesome vid. :]

  • itttt akarooook dolgozniiiii :)

  • I wander what happens when {if} they screw up a guitar there??

  • they can't... they're to good to screw up a guitar.. even a screwed up guitar is better then like a jackson

  • Ive got a '64 Epi Riviera. As far as playability goes, it stands toe to toe with my 335. The sound is different (mini humbuckers and the trapeze), but actually better for some things. Of course this one came out of the Kalamazoo, MI Gibson plant.

  • Epiphone's play very nice for the price. I know that is hard for someone that pays $2K or more for a guitar to accept. They do not play that much different than the Gibson.

  • has any body else never heard of them?

  • YAH... I have

  • they need to make a robot bass!!!

  • @Valon18 your a noob...

  • way to ruin a great guitar

  • wow i wish i culd afford a gibbson

  • I would get a Gibson too if i had the money...i have a custom Fender now

  • switch the B and CH in BuckCherry

  • Good job smart one

  • Haha unfortunately the world is filled with fucktards like that

  • Am I a f*cktard???

  • Hell no! fiddycent2 is, you are still in the smart people category so far based on your comments

  • cool

  • Lucky guys

  • if i had the money i would defenetly buy a gibson ( got a epiphone now :D )

  • same here man. Next best thing tho right? you may think im cravy but i think my epi les paul standard plays better than my friends $2,000 dollar LP Std.

  • not sure but i think epiphone is older than gibson anyways so it gives you the satisfaction of knowing its even more original then gibson.(:

although i dont know if its true, i saw that on some forums or something, haha.

  • YOur right, epipone made hollowbodies and guitar parts before gibson bought em out. They claim that the OLD OLD OLD epis are very good quality, their own original designs also

  • Many years back Epiphone was one of the most respected guitar makers around

  • gibson owns Epiphone bro

and Epiphone is made in china

  • They are now - go back about 70 years or so and epiphone wasn't owned by gibson and they made their own guitars from a factory in the usa. They only started making cheap version of gibson guitars once gibson bought them, and that's also when they moved operations to china

  • Wow i didnt know that thank man

  • But what's wrong with a guitar thats made in china, sure its a budget guitar and its not hand-made but it still plays really well, at least for begginners and intermediate players who are on a budget, not everyone can buy a gibson, but epiphone comes close. =)

  • ahhhhhhhhhh noooooooo. my bud has an epiphone a top of the line epiphone, it does not sound as good as my gibson les paul classic, does not play as good as mine, and does not look as cool as mine =]

  • What's the difference between the gibson les paul standard, classic and traditional and which would you recommend?

  • probably the standard or classic. the traditional is a standard, the classic is a standard as well but the classic is trying to replicate how they were made in 1960's, traditional are just more expensive standards lol.... i recommend a standard or classic, if you like a thinner neck, heavier gtr classic.

  • duh

  • Well the funny thing (and kind of upsetting hahaha) is that before gibson came along, epiphone was making crappy FENDER copies...Sad but true, my friend has a strat style epi guitar and I HATE it...

  • yeah well epi does make really good guitars now, havent played the old ones so i really wouldnt know, but i like epiphone alot more than gibson, dont know why i guess its just a personal prefference.

  • you obviously havent compared the sound have you?

  • first of all that comment below was meant to reply to the conversation i was having on page 2 (by the time you read this itll be page 3-4) but yes, i have compared the two SG'S not anything else, i KNOW that gibson is much better sound quality, again,i dont know why but i prefer epiphone. dont ask me why i just do, its wierd i know.

  • so awesome :)

  • cool.

  • Awesome video!
