i love the new darkthrone shit. its fucking good. its like a step back to really fucking old school black metal. it has the old school punk feel and a lot of thrash which is how black metal started. i'd say its a win haha, though i'm also a thrasher at heart so i guess its perfect for me.

Apprently so - I've only ever seen footage from about two or three concerts, all from around the time of Blaze in the Northern Sky. It's probably because their bassist left, and they found it hard to get permanent (live) replacements.
