  • Man That is a great setup, Check my full rock solid build out :)

  • DUDE, is that the bike from the pee wee herman show? he had a cool bike like that too. Now you're the biggest dork on the block.

  • @myclem6674 No way man. His has nothing on mine ;) Biddlies line up for miles to get a ride of this machine. They can't get enough of the vibrations this baby has on offer.

  • Not to be a prick but after a manifold that long your expansion chamber would be doing shit all.

  • @balls2yourface How do you suggest I improve on it? The motor is fitted with the standard manifold.

  • @EnFlaMEd Don't know if there is much you can do to. Sick bie parts makes a wide pedal kit that might let you shorten the manifold. look up how tuned pipes work and you will see what I mean. Also try filling up the boost bottle with a tiny bit of RC car fuel and you will get a noticeable power increase.

  • all the lights and stuff is way overdone. a small light front and rear is enough. it lookz weird

  • @traxxaslover123 I bought those lights because they function as working indicators however they are shit. I now run a cateye tl-ld100 rear light and two ssc p7 (one is an Aurora and the other a MTE) up front which are totally awesome as head lights and look good. The Bicygnals fitted in this video are useless and yes they look ridiculous but that was a price I was willing to pay for safety.

  • Isn't it bad to let a 2 stroke idle for long

    Periods of time? If I'm

Not mistaken revving it is how you keep it lubercated.

  • @krazedgunner

It's probably not an issue with the loose tolerances these engines are built to. Perhaps on a highly strung precision race engine it could become a problem. I'm no expert but I have had mine idling for as long as 15 minutes before and it doesn't seem to have caused any problems.

  • bbbb bu bu bububu BALLIN!!

  • hey where do u get the shift kit plz

  • @richarded22

Hey mate they can be purchased from sickbikeparts. Google search

  • do you think the jackshaft kit really works and do you think i could go offroad up any hill with it in the lowest gear? im 200 pounds? and what model bike is that?

  • @00through09 Yes it really works! You will be pretty much able to go up any hill though obviously there is a limit and you will have to start pedaling. The only hill I have come across where I have had to pedal is up a stupidly steep gravel track in the national park across the road from where I live. Its that steep that every pedal results in wheel spin. I'm 170 pounds and the bike is a 09 Avanti Illusion.

  • the boost bottle is just an air chamber so its filled with nothing when the engine is not running. The idea is that it aids in intake scavenging so when the motor is running its filled with fuel vapor that is blown back through the intake during the combustion cycle.

Not sure exactly how much speed the expansion chamber exhaust added but it was a noticeable improvement power wise

  • boost bottles help low end torque and they do help no hoax the expansion chambers will make a 125cc motor with well tuned ones to burn 180cc or air gas mix and will increase rpm slightly now do the math and that percentage of extra power will help a lot and i mean a lot and the stock exhaust hurt the performance so you get the performance back plus a lot making it worth it by far

  • Does the boost bottle eventually run out or does it just stay. Is it sort of like nitrous oxide? And how much speed does the expansion chamber exhaust add to the motor?

  • you got all the stuff on that thing

  • That expansion chamber is too far away from the exhaust port i think :S

  • @trepxtrechi I think you mean intake..

  • @crazyfvck no I dont mean the intake.. You know what an expansion chamber is? Its should have been closer to your exhaust port on your cylinder

  • @trepxtrechi I misunderstood your comment when I first read it. I thought you were referring to the boost bottle, since some people call them expansion chambers. I actually tried to cancel the comment right after I made it but I guess that didn't work.

  • Just wanna say thankyou for replying! I got all my stuff. I see what you mean about filing here and there, hopefully will dremel. Just installed the crank and freewheel. Gotta get a new fuel tank cause mines got some rust in it D:! Will go for plastic :D! Anyways will hopefully make a vid when its done. Peace!

  • @msconfigexe

How good are dremels! Mine got thrashed with my build lol. Good luck with it mate and I look forward to seeing some vids

  • Hey also sorry to spam you lol. Do you have measuring calipers? Could you measure your OD of the the seat tube please? If so thanks dude muchly appreciated :D!

  • @msconfigexe

I think from memory it was 38mm but I could be wrong. Ill let you know when I have had another look. When I installed the kit I had to file out the exhaust clamps to get them to fit right around the seat tube.

  • Hey mate, how long did it take for the shifter kit to come from spb? i'm going to order one next week when money says I can lol (not mummy, money!) Do you have any tips you could suggest? Thanks

    Seb

  • @msconfigexe

Took about 2 weeks I think from the US. I am in South Aus. As for tips I would suggest triple checking that everything lines properly and maybe spacing out the chain rings a little more. My chains kept colliding when I first built mine but that may have been specific to my application.

  • @EnFlaMEd hey, how much shipping was it? probably more than the actual kit i imagine lol

  • @xXjulimanXx I think it was about $40USD at the time. Pretty good value with the dollar at the moment!

  • Hey Sweet bike!

Im from sydney and i want to buy this shift kit, How long did it roughly take for postage? Just want an idea cause im tossing the idea around of getting one. Any problems with installation or pretty straight forward??

    Cheers!

  • @ToTheSkyAUS

Took about 2 weeks mate. It was pretty straight for the initial install but took a fair while with tinkering around to get it to work properly. You have have to file and enlarge or elongate some of the holes in the plates. I also recommend mounting the engine straight to frame with nothing for insulation inbetween the mounting brackets as this caused massive vibration problems for me. Solid mounted worked beautifully but obviously scratched up my frame.

  • Very nice. Love the kit for the hills we have here. My rear disk brake limits the size of sprocket there . I am leery of mech failure in the kit. All I need is a piece of metal flying into the jewels. How about spokes? Torque on axle might cause spokes to snap going up steep hills?.. I don't like the attention I get on mine. So I ride early in the morning. Holidays, Sundays. Just waiting for some kind of massive fine issued by our local constabulary.

  • @EnFlaMEd thanks for tha reply imma try n order tha kit n work on it asap the shit look real mad now ppl goin to hear me shiftin gears on my bike then there goin to b like WTF u jus dont stop lolol

  • @54267981

You will get plenty of bemused looks and people approaching you to talk about it lol. I got stopped by at least one person everyday when I was commuting to work lol.

  • how do u shift the gears on it like what do u do use the clutch or what could u explain me before i buy one

  • @54267981

You just shift gears how would you would on a normal push bike. I changed the gear shifter to a grip type to make it easier so its sort of like having a sequential gear box on a car. There is a bit of knack to changing smoothly which you will get the hang of. Basically just back off the throttle a bit as you change gear. You only need to use the clutch on take off and stopping.

  • pinches estrogos shingones jajajjaa

  • nice

  • This shift kit seems better than the newer version I got. I won't even bother with mine cause you have to remove the engine to install. Having gears sounds cool, but is it really worth the hassle?

  • @HostileHST I don't give two shits about how it sounds. I bought the kit because I have an extremely steep hill to climb to get from the suburbs and up into the hills where I live. I also wanted to be able to cruise at 60kmh without revving the tits out of the engine as I some times had to travel over 60km a day for work. It does both these things with ease. Its seriously amazing the hills it can pull up. No direct drive china engine would stand a chance.

  • @EnFlaMEd I didn't mean how the engine or pipe sounds, just sounds like the idea is cool. Hope that makes more sense and glad to hear the kit really works, that was the part I was after.

  • @HostileHST haha no worries. It really does work!

  • Nice job.Does anyone have an opinion on which of the chinese kits might be better or which to stay away from?I found an Italian kit that claims 5.4 hp but the price reflects the increased power and percieved better quality.

  • @MrSafetymeeting

can i get a link to that kit?

  • exceptional effort....Thanks for posting these vids as they really provide a lot of inspiration for a lot of folks...

  • Thanks for the kind words mate. I will endeavour to take some more footage and post it up down the track.

  • @EnFlaMEd

please reply, i have one of these kits on my bike and here in florida cops are constantly herassing me even tough i have taken all steps to make it legal class e license and moped tag, now i got a ticket for not having turn signals, please tell me where you got yours. awesome video.

  • bicygnals . com

Honestly though I wouldnt waste your time. Mine broke after less than 100km of travel. The batteries enclosures are too loose so any bump and the lights switch off. Also the mounts on mine snapped sending my front one into road at 40kmh.

  • @EnFlaMEd

its one of very few options there are for bikes and i need some or i have to pay a $300 ticket. thanks for responding, and hows the bike doing?

  • Honestly I would look for another option. The bike is good but I haven't ridden it for a while. The weather is starting to get bad here and Ive been driving to work.

  • @1501HP I guess rules vary state to state(and cop to cop)but I thought hand signals were acceptable on one of these.I had a vw with no turn signals and did hand signals for about a year.I'm building one too and hope I don't get tickets.

  • any carb adjustiments were needed with the expansion chamber installation? thanks

  • If I remember correctly I believe I may have leaned it out slightly. However these days after installing a high comp head and velocity stack I have had to rejet the carb to an almost unbelievable 1.6mm

  • how fast does you bike go. im going to set one up similar to yours.

  • 60-65kmh on the flat depending on the conditions. Bit of a decline and it will easily pass 70kmh.

  • anyone who owns a motor bike should visit/join "motorbicycling" website. i am a member and i can tell you that they are super helpful.

  • motoredbikes is also another excellent forum. I am on both.

  • he got it from sick bike parts

  • Comment removed

  • where did you order the motorkit from and shift kit from

  • for lights go to ebay they have gen kits that run of the motor to flashing lights 3volt i think like all led's. u can wire it up to a rechargeable 3v battery so u can run constant lights not flashing ones

  • Sweet ride.

I have two problems wit hit though.

    1. I could only imagine the attention it'll get from the police, they'll make me plate it.

    2. I'll park it at work on the first day and after work I would find that all the lights and computer and stuff had gone missing..

  • Check your local laws to find out if they are legal in your area.

You take the lights/computer with you when you lock the bike up lol. I'm not actually using the lights in this video anymore though as they are rubbish.

  • how much you paid?

  • Not sure. If I added up all the parts not including the bike I would probably be around the $800 mark. The bike itself was around $1200

  • Actually at the time this video was taken it was probably more like $600 in parts.

  • just got motor but dnt got bike for it was it hard to put together

  • It was easy to put together but hard to get it running right. I mostly had trouble with chain alignment because the plate I made for my front mount wasn't quite centered correctly. I think doing a standard build without the shift kit would a piece of cake.

  • No but it wasn't exactly easy either.

  • Like to know where you picked up the wider front and back light kits. Thanks.

  • Don't bother. They are junk. Mine lasted less than 60km before I had problems. Firstly the battery enclosures are too loose so the lights turn off over even the slightest bump. Also the tabs that hold the lights onto the mount snapped on mine over a bump. I ended up having to keep them on with cable ties and superglue. Also the lights are barely visible on a sunny day. I tried returning mine but never got a reply to my numerous emails. Not good enough for $89.

  • nice dude!

  • Cheers

1jz powahs! Got one in my z20 :D

  • Haha sweet ride dude would love 1 of those. mine in a mx73 cressy 12.89@ 108mph! why i lost my licence!

  • NICE! Old school toughness :D

  • Sounds like a nice build you have going there. I cant comment on the powerloss as I have never ridden another motorized bike and I built mine with the shift kit straight up. I suppose it would make sense for there to be some extra drive train losses but I dont think it would be enough to worry about especially when you have torque multiplication via the gears anyway.

  • also does the shift kit steal any noticeable amount of power the way the power goes through so many more bearings (and front freewheel)? can you notice it at all ? would be interesting to spin the jackshaft by hand with the chain running down to the pedals just to see ;) cool bike !

  • very nice ! ;) im nearing finishing my motorized bike with rebuilt top end on my 66cc ive smoothed out the transfer ports with my dremell and im going to try using high quality gasket silicone at the bottom of the barrel instead of a gasket which will lower the head and barrel by aprox 1mm for a bit more compression, engine is complete on my bench now. also have a cns carby which has a mixture screw,4 litre petrol tank, shift kit and a gt lts fullsuspension bike frame.shouldb finishedin 1month

  • Dude that is a sick bike! Five stars for you my friend. Hey come see some of my bikes if you get a chance. :-)
