This track was written by two more obscure Chicago House artists Eric Lewis and Merwyn Sanders aka Virgo Four or Ace and the Sandman for this one and the title is Let Your Body Talk. Great track nonetheless. Chicago house forever!!!
This is *not* a Larry Heard production. This is Eric Lewis and Merwyn Sanders (aka Virgo Four). 'Let Your Body Talk' was originally pressed in 1992 on the Trax sub-label Saber Records and recently repressed by Rush Hour in 2010.
I had a copy of this record but sold it due to the groove wear on this track being so heavy. Then I come hear to listen to it and I find out that it isn't even a Larry Heard track.
I would almost garuantee this is Larry Heard, the man is a god to me... thanks for posting. Every TRAX pressing is shit, but this sounds pretty good...
great track -as already mentioned shame about the pressing sound quality. I presume the master tape is nowhere to be found- be great to get a decent re-press?
Larry Sherman was a pretty disgusting person the way he ripped off all of his signings and pressed such amazing music on such terrible vinyl. Still a great track. Peace.
this track was not done by Mr. Fingers as the label indicates. Just Trax trying to use the Mr. Fingers name without the person behind it. Sad for Trax, if you ask me.
The track you have posted is an edit(a smaller mix) of this:Ace & The Sandman - Let Your Body Talk.I know becuase I have it posted on my channel already!
Hmm they do sound the same. Hey what can I do? Mr Fingers is what it says on the label, and it sounds very Larry Heard-ish to me. I'm gonna be posting another Fingers track off this very soon, which I'm sure somebody will tell me is really a Backstreet Boys b-side
Sorry if I offended you mate? It was certaninly not my intention. But what can I say? It's just the usual Larry Sherman/Trax Records bullshit of getting the names /titles mixed up again! That always used to happen. So unproffesional and disrespetful to their artists. I swear a chimp could run a better show than Larry Sherman! What the hell was he on?!
Don't worry I didn't get offended! Compared to some of the things people have written as comments, what you said was practically a love poem, lol. I was just having a little joke on my last reply re the backstreet boys :) . I appreciate you trying to set the record straight , as too many artists don't get recognition they are due.
Actually I'm beginning to wonder whether it is actually a fingers track originally, sounds much more larry heard to my ears than anyone else ...who knows?
@RealFreshBlog Not to mentioned all the horrible pressings! He was about the dollar, i see Larry once in a while and believe me i've told him about it. He should probably refund alot of people's money for all those horribly pressed records they bought! Hah! were talking about Larry, like that's ever gonna happen. LOL!!!
