I want to do a satin black on mine, I have a silverado 4x4 '98 with a body lift and I did the rustoleum flat black but used spray paint and it has nasty streaks. I want to clean it up and make it look as smooth as yours. I could sand it a bit and just spray over the spray paint job right?
@wolftone1916 finely mist the paint on after u sand it up and just keep misting it and u should be good to go. i just put a link in the description to where i bought my spray gun off amazon and i put a review of the gun up there so check it out if ya want gun worked for me
@wolftone1916 i bought a 1 gallon worth pail of rustoleom industrial flat black . i poured spirits in a mason jar halfway poured paint in the rest stirred it up and put it in the gun and sprayed it on

@SsjSned Yeah, mine just straight up grenaded out on me. I was driving up the freeway and it went to shit real quick...I should have it back tomorrow, then I will be painting in about 2 weeks when I get the funds.
@wolftone1916 dude all i know is guys use the foam roller tech but gotta mix it thin but where it wont run ona verticle. if u wana do a good job sand her between dried coats untill ur wet sanding her. it will come out nice but if rollers come out nice spray will come out creme puff and if u wet sand that man itl be pro. flat blk went on so nice i didnt sand shit after i just drive it like i stole it and its still holdin up .its been bout a year maybe ill upload a vid on how its holdn up til now
@big2012Blue the fender flares cover rusted out steel panels, the camper keeps my tools dry and locked up and the mirrors are what came wuth the truck when i bought it for 100 bucks. like 100 more bucks into the paint job and its still holdn up
how many coats did you put on and how did you go about painting it? one fender at a time or did you just keep dusting it until it covered the truck, I cant see any lines and im amazed lol
@Deciblaster bro cheap electric spraygun 1 gal of rustoleom flat blk, a gal of mineral spirits mix spray drink beer let it dry respray i worked it in sides top,left,back,front,right,hood by the time i was around refillin gun kept on goin again like 7 coats till i ran out called it a day

I personally liked it better when it was RUSTING BLUE instead of rustoleum black, and filled with metal church tapes.
Oh yea, and thanks for NOT mentioning the extra help you had with the plexi glass window replacement....who evers Idea that was was pure GENIUS!
