@pamelamiller03 I found that too but I just kept stirring what seemed like an insanely long time and the crystals got much smaller. it will still have a little grit to it but I think they actually dissolve some more after it's set as well.

Hi @ChristineBells and @girlygirlblue12! We made ours a year ago and it's still great. I use it every day. If you checked it out on my blog, you'll see I didn't think the KoolAid added much flavor so we actually added candy flavoring as well.

@BekaAndFriends - If you don't have KoolAid, use any kind of powdered drink mix. I'd pick one that is either "diet" or requires you to add sugar -- but don't use the sugar, just use it as is. Good luck!

Re: the freezer question, you don't need to. It firms up within 30 minutes. I guess you could to speed it up but it's not really necessary.
