  • I liked it. Good job.

  • @allegany22

Oh back the F off Allegany, you weren't around then either. You aren't Jesus or Mother earth. She made a mistake and miss spoke. I'm sure you've never done that before, and your comment is uncalled for.

  • @TheRealDavlion Thanks man! :]

  • the Iroquois Confederacy was 5 nations not 6. The 6th nation was moved and became part of us only in the early 1700s. In New York most still say "5 Nations" not Iroquois or "6 nations". In Canada we say "Iroquois" or "6 Nations". :-)

  • You forgot to mention and talk about how all the white people's founding father's raped our people, land, lives.

  • my onkwehonwe people have a creation story, in our story we talk about how the creator had made us and put us on this earth to live in harmony with the animals and everything, the white man belives they were monkeys so let them lmfao

  • to make a connection between the Iroquois and American democracy is a stretch to say the least

  • the Olmecs were not in north american before the Haudenosaunee... I'm Black/Chahta("choctaw") and Haudenosaunee or as yall call it, the" Iroquois" .... and if for the last 200 yrs your family was born in america you're a fucking Native American... you are no more African then a white man... we all are from Africa fool but we choose to be pride to be from this land... you should just face the fact that you're an American to!!!!!!! Ome' Chi pesa li chike :-)

  • Looking for my ancestors, through unconventional history and ancient scripts, I found a New World..^_^. And that maybe the Bering Strait theory could be reversed..It seems that 30.000 years ago (yes..30.000) a small group of people crossed the narrow strip of land FROM America to Siberia. Siberia was already inhabited as well and, as all these ancient peoples were nomads, to them was quite usual to cross the land up and down..Down and up..We are all related, my dears! One..And much more ancient

  • I say to white friends, we did not use wheel. We had a more reliable way to travel and move goods. Mother nature road and very large canoe. No need to build road and fix them all the time. It make us wise people. The wheel was for toy and explaine our medicine.

  • The Olmecs were here before the native americans.

  • lmaooo@ "the iroquois indians was here 500 yrs before the europeans were" lol@ that white ppl make me sick. yall always try to do research based of what "white" people wrote in the very books you use. smh how tha fuk does that makes sense? quite naturally its gonna back up your thoughts and what you want ppl to believe. damn indians was here thousands of years before you. white ppl never want original ppl to ever believe we was far ahead of them one time in civilization.

  • I am English and we don't get taught about the Americas much. My grandma had a pair of Iroquois moccasins as a little girl and now I have them. They are love. Shame the White man took over

  • 500 years dear? please get some real facts from NATIVE MOTHERS AND GRAND CHIEFS! 8TH grader!

  • There are many good docuementaries out there ... one that comes to mind right now is Kevin Costner's 500 Nations. I have a few issues with it, but on the whole, he has tried to make a good portrayal.

  • Here in Toronto, we have Burial Mounds of our Ancient Ones that date back between 1000 and 6000 years. All throughout the US, you, too, have ancient burial mounds. We were part of the Peoples known as the Mound Builders.

  • um ... we were here THOUSANDS of years before the European Colonizers arrived ... not just 500 years ... sheesh!

But anyway, at least you are trying ... we also lived on the north shore of Lake Ontario (Sparkling Water), and around Lake Erie ... and why not? They are / were beautiful lands and waters.

  • @merryprankster60 lol i didnt see your comment.. that is true white ppl make me sick man. they write the very same history books they use to do they so-called research. wtf? they think we that slow?

  • Comment removed

  • @omiredrose go bak you fukkin imposer. lol i cant wait until egypt, saudi arabia, syria, iran, bahrain, qadar, jordan, palestine, lebanon and all the others get so feed up with you hoes they fukkin make you wish you never was born. i hope they bomb yall azzez for two years str8. and human bomb yall azzez until your 1yr old kids hairs turn grey. jesus rebuked you and called you the devil in john 8:44 cause that is who you r "SATAN" of course you dont care about other ppl

  • @omiredrose i do and my family THATS WHO CARES!!!!!! im NATIVE AMERICAN/INDIAN and there is a little different

  • @likesades100 sorry... i was being mean, wasn't i?...

  • @omiredrose A Little

  • @likesades100 I shall erase the message.

  • Well we know what happened to the Iroquois along with every other non-white reace who has had the misfortune of being swarmed, assaulted and slaughtered and raided by KKKrackers. Im black and we all know what happened when kkkrackers finally had the capabiblity of incursions into africa. ANd yet these are the same pale psychopaths who have depicted themselves as some hihgly sophisticated and enlightened and pious christiians!

  • @TheBlackRite your ignorant hate filled generalizations have done wonders to set you apart from those you seek to critisize congrats on being the stereotypical angry black guy,im sure spike lee and kanye west would be proud of you. P.S. and F.Y.I. white people may have enslaved black people but white people also set them free generalize less please and dont lump the good people of this world in with low rent ignorant jackasses like the fucking KKK

  • @TheBlackRite or perhaps you would prefer white people generalize about you and as such I'll go ahead and assume you're a thieving murdering drug dealing 360 degree dunking fried chicken and watermelon enjoying gang affiliated rapist. generalizing is pro amirite?!?!

  • fix your 500 years part and that not all 6 nations played lax 'brutally' lol. were we your school project? looks like it.

  • i have to say thank you for making this vidio finally our people are reconised as being the influence over the white man.and i dont like the disrespect of this white man

  • WoW! My research through archeaological, historic, culture revelations of Iroquois descendants, became of this continent 11,000 years ago! Although, your summation suggest we become of iroquois existence of 500 years prior to european contact is partly true, but our ancestors, suggested like I said 11,000 years ago.

  • I believe you, however, this is the information that I had found. Like I said, I am not here to discourage any one race or ethnicity.

  • @xoxomichellexoxo i think it was just misleading infromation. I think the Identity of the Iroquois or Haudenosaunee people came about 500 years before European contact. People still lived here, but the Iroquois culture and not been developed yet.

As an example of what I mean: People have lived in the area where Germany is for thousands of years, but the Nation of Germany has only existed for a few hundred years.

    hope that made sense

  • @xoxomichellexoxo

You can understand why your video and your response to criticism upsets people, right?

It is obvious to anyone with even an elementary, working knowledge of "Google", that you did not put a respectful amount of research into your (I'm assuming) school project. And then you put it up on YouTube for other people to see. Did you expect congratulations?

It's evident that you spent 10 minutes on google images to get these photos and another 10 on "research".

    You should delete.

  • @allegany22 Yeah you guys were here for a long time and stayed a paleo indian society who were destined to be conquered.

  • @allegany22 I don't think any other race of people were on this earth 11k yrs ago other than black people. I think that's a myth about being in america 11k yrs ago. I think probably 2-3k yrs ago.

  • @Thutmosis7 well, Homo Sapiens, more modern humans, were already migrating out of Africa and into Asia and Europe as early as 45000. Some believe that the first humans arived in the Americas around this early. the most widely excepted thought is that most of the migration came into the Americas between 20000 and 10000 years ago.

still, Humanity's 50000 year existence is an evolutionary blink of the eye. it may seem like a long time, but we are a very new creature to the Earth.

  • @hydrogendragon I believe the black race were the only one around until 8k-10k yrs ago. I think we been around for million of yrs. But we are not as old as the dinosaurs. I don't believe in evolution that's for sure.

  • @Thutmosis7 Why do you think Blacks were on this planet so much longer?

I dont necessarily believe in the theory of evolution, I'm a religious person, but those theories are the mostly widely excepted in scientific circles around the globe. On an interesting note, by and large, many long established world religions put Mans origin or creation at about 10k years ago. According to most scientist, that was about the time Humans started developing language, culture and early settlements.

  • @hydrogendragon Blacks are the only real humans. Everybody else are hybrid

  • @Thutmosis7 Lol, ok. Um, your generalization of "Blacks" is a little odd, friend. You would be hard pressed to find a genetically "pure" original "Black" man. Skin pigment varies greatly on the African continent. Even look at the United States, there is no one shade of "Blackness".

Also, reexamine your use of the term "hybrid". A very light skinned European can have children with a very dark skinned African and their offspring will be healthy and capable of reproduction = No humans are hybrids

  • @hydrogendragon Racial Hybrids. Yes, they exist in the Human Species. They're called admixtures and they have Genetic Advantages that Purer Racial Breeds don't.

  • @PeeGeeBeeDee I still dont think that fits the definition of a "hybrid". I'm thinking of it more along the lines of the offspring of a horse and donkey...

Now, all humans are genetically the same except for a few odd markers that cause some of us to lighter or darker skin color or variations in nose shape and so on. Certain peoples have developed immunities to certain illnesses and disease based on what their ancestors were exposed to.

All humans belong to the same sub-species.

  • @PeeGeeBeeDee whats a pure racial breed? lol, i have met some people that were certainly genetically unique, but never in my life met a pure breed. i hope you arnt talking about the pure Aryan master race! jk jk lol

  • @hydrogendragon Good Question. I Just Made That Term Up. In Fact As I Was Writing It I Thought To Myself Can I Use This Term With These People (These Native People) And Get Away With It? Will They Think That This Is An Actually Scientific Term? Apparently Not. Thank You For Calling ME On It. Well, To Answer Your Question, In My Mind A "Pure Racial Breed" Is One That Is Solely Constituted Of One Sub-Race Of The Mongoloid, Cacasoid, Negroid, Australoid, Etc. Races Of Man.

  • @hydrogendragon So If A Person Is Solely Genetically Consisted Of The Filipino Sub-Race Of The Mongoloid Race Then That Person Is A "Racial Pure Breed." (Most People Are Not Genetically Pure, However, Even The Ones That Consist Of Just One Sub-Race. Like In The Example Above, Most People That Claim To Be Solely Genetically Filipino Have Chinese, Spanish, Indian, Indonesian, Etc. Genes.)

  • @hydrogendragon So to answer your question, I Made The Term Up And Just Made Up A Definition For It As Well.

  • @PeeGeeBeeDee Lol. The problem with your theory is that there are no genetic markers that signify a persons nationality. There is no "Filipino Sub-Race" marker. Race and Sub-Race isn't even used in any scientific classification to my knowledge.

    Funny thought though

  • @hydrogendragon Oh, But There Are Genetic Markers That Indicate Racial Ancestry Because They're More Prevalent Among Certain Races And Ethnic Groups. I'll Give You A Link To Something To Prove It.

  • @PeeGeeBeeDee That would be fantastic, thank you.

  • @hydrogendragon OKAY, Give ME A Second To Write It Out, Post It, And Then Send You The Link.

  • ACTUAL

  • @PeeGeeBeeDee Are you serious? lol.

Anyway, even within the categories of Mongoloid, Caucasian etc, there is a huge amount of variation and overlap between these categories. You cant isolate a "pure breed", through racial categorization, its getting to be an outdated form of categorizing people. Besides, it causes too much trouble when people try and name who are the quintessential originals of this or that race.

  • @hydrogendragon There Is Overlap Between Many Ethnic Groups And There Is A Lot Of Variation Within An Ethnic Group, However, There Is Also A Lot Of Genetic Homogenity Within An Ethnic Group. That Is To Say, Allow There May Be Many Genetic Similarities Between Two Ethnic Groups, There Are Also A Lot Of Genes (Alleles) That Are Exclusive To These Ethnic Groups Or Genes (Alleles) That Are At A Higher Frequency In These Ethnic Groups Making Both Ethnic Groups Genetically Different From One Another.

  • @PeeGeeBeeDee Your not mixing up the terms Race and Ethnicity now, are you?

Anyhow, no matter what the differences are, human beings are share about 99.9% of our genetic make up in common with all others belonging to our sub-species homo sapiens sapiens. Someone's own national, cultural or religious identification is not a matter of genetic classification.

I'm very curious as to where you get your information from. I would very much like to study your theories deeper.

  • @hydrogendragon Well, I Used Ethnic Group To Simplify The Concept Of Genetic Differences For You And My Viewers. Anyhow, You're Back Tracking Now. You're Admitting That There Are Genetic Differences And I Haven't Even Proved That There Are Differences Or Given Examples Of Any Differences. Anyway, I Can Say That I'm Chaldean (That I Can Be Identfied As Being Chaldean). But I'd Be Lying To You And Genetic Tests Would Prove I'm Lying. So I Wouldn't Be Classified As Chaldean By Geneticists.

  • @PeeGeeBeeDee Lol, I doubt a Geneticist would classify you as someone of another nationality though. Anyway, I don't think I'm backtracking, I never said all humans are exactly the same. I'm just pointing out race does not make its way into the scientific taxonomic classification of homo sapiens sapiens.

Why would you use Ethnic Group interchangeably with Race? That only makes things all the more inconsistent, not simpler!

I would still like for you to share your research source. I'm intrigued

  • @hydrogendragon AHH YES. I Think You're Another SDSU Student Because You NO COMPRENDE MEIN. So Allow ME To Back Track With My Back Pack And Re-Write That. OKAY, Here Goes: Geneticists Can Determine What Ethnic Group Someone Descends From Based On Their Genetic Make-Up.

Anywho, My Information Comes From The Vast Reserve Of Knowledge That I Have Stored In My Mind. Now Let ME Tap Into This Vast Reserve So That I Can Share More Of This Research With You (I Will Give You References Later).

  • @PeeGeeBeeDee I don't think you are making a consistent point anymore, so far I am unconvinced that you have a strong understanding of genetics, race or ethnic origins. What do you mean SDSU Student? "No Comprende Mein"... that doesn't even make sense.

If your vast knowledge only exists in your own mind and you fail to list others research, you will have to understand if I choose not to take your opinion seriously.

I simply cannot adopt a theory that has no backing....

  • @hydrogendragon ADOPTION

  • @PeeGeeBeeDee You know, after looking at our ping pong string of comments, unless some individual has some interest in the origins of man, genetics or the ethics of racial classification.... our comments probably deserve to be taken down. I dont see any constructive information coming out of this.

  • @hydrogendragon Many Of My Viewers Are Interested In The Origins Of Man, Genetics, And Racial Classification. So I Vote That My Comments Stay Up.

  • @hydrogendragon

This might help both of you. It's only cursory but it kinda answers the question. genome. gov/Pages/News/Documents/RaceandGeneticsCommentary .pdf

The short answer is you are both right? haha um Scientists can use your genetics to trace to a fairly high degree of certainty WHERE your ancestors came from. But only if your bloodline is quite pure. Most Americans do not have such bloodlines. Race is a social construction.

White supremacists love the minutiae of science on this.

  • ALTHOUGH

  • Hybrid Vigor

  • What a disgrace to say we were here 500 years before our white fathers! But what is expected of a white child..

  • Through my research, I found that there is in fact archeological evidence of Native Americans at least 500 years prior to the European arrival. I'm not sure why you think that is disgraceful? I am not here to discourage any one race or ethnicity. I am of mixed race myself and part Native American.

  • @xoxomichellexoxo

You're 'part Native American'.... Let me guess.... You're a 1/16th Cherokee? LOL
