I absolutely agree with SNC64. Mischa probably is a great person, but Marissa was such a mistake... Her and Ryan's friendship was boring. BORING. For example, I did not like Lindsay too, but it was way more interesting to watch the oc. Taking Taylor as one of the main characters was a wonderful decision. Loved her. And Ryan.
His hottest was with Sadie and Taylor. I didn't get any feeling at all when he was with Mirrasa not even when she died. She was a terrible actress and they were really apart more than they were together. The show would have been a lot better if they had her leave because she was to depressing and all she did was lie, drink and sit on a lifeguard stand.

I am only speaking about her acting ability and I think they could have come up with someone that would have really been good playing the role. She was ok in the opening of the series but it was obvious that she was not able to bring the emotion into the character that I thought should have been there. The girl that played Sadie was very good in the role they had her play.
