@nealart Wow, you're a moron. WHOOPS I CALLED YOU A MORON!! DONT SUE ME, PLEASE. I DIDNT MEAN TO OFFEND YOU!!!
Not defending bad people, just saying that when bad things happen to you, or you hear something that kind of offends you, dont fucking cry about it. Move on.
@sylentknyte Well, I was the one who tormented the fat kids, and the fact that they just moved on was the best thing for me. I think they would have been better advised to report me to the head of the school, or my parents.
@nealart K. But getting beaten up and picked on is actually a situation where you should tell someone, which is different than being a whistle blower. I know youre going to say "YOURE CONTRADICTING YOURSELF MEHHHH". I was just using it as an example to show you that, yes, in my life I've been offended and had insults thrown my way. Should I have told someone? Probably. But at the same time, it built character. Motivated me to stop being a fatass.
Except that people don't just say hey man you're a faggot. They often shout it and follow that up with a beating and sometimes a killing. That is why a gay person feels threatened when someone says hey man , you're a faggot. They read the news about violent crime. You are speaking from the point of view of someone who has not been harmed in any real way for who you are. That is not the same thing as having a thick skin, that just means your skin has not really been tested yet.
@nealart When I was a kid I was picked on/beaten up quite a bit for being a fat ass (which I was). I didnt run home and cry about it, I held my head up high and just moved on. I've also been called a faggot myself, by dickheads that thought I was gay. Once again, move on, hold your head high. I've been tested. Many people in this world are so quick to cry wolf when they feel "offended", and most of them need to either lighten up, or shut the fuck up. He was one of them.
@nealart And again, people should consider the context of what has been said, not the word itself. A black guy calling his buddy a "N word" and a KKK member calling him that in a derogitory way are two different things. Myself and my friend jokingly using the word faggot, and calling a gay guy a faggot in a derogitory way are two completley different things.
Well, if you want to defend people who beat up fat kids, that is your right.
