I am of 29 now, you make me remember my childhood. Tehkikaat was my one of fav. serial along with BYOMKESH BAKSHI. Those were Golden Days of my life. Missing now..

Contrast this to the serials on dozens of channels today. The Doordarshan shows of those days had amazig concepts and stories much better than the mother-in-law and husband and his five girlfriend stories today on all the channels combined. Feel sorry for the genreation growing up now. Kids in that era had a great childhood, more playtime and grew up watching good entertaining and even informative shows like Surabhi and Bhart Ek Khoj, Somehow the tehzeeb and maturity of Indian society is lost.

Great Job Ammali. Keep it up. I have been searching for Reporter series too. But for no avail. I am ready to buy the DVD, but don't know whether it is available. I could not find the theme music, let alone the series.

The best one was the episode where the person John Pereira comes back to haunt the family . I still cannot foeget I alomost got a heart attack at 14 , when i saw him sitting in the bath tub with his fangs and shining eyes . I am 29 now , I have much scarier movies and scenes , bit somehow that scene from the last episode and the overall story made a lasting impression . Cannot forget that , it was just too scary !!
