Tsui Sheung Tin is the one and only top wing chun legendary left behind these days regardless the rest who are called grandmasters. There was only one grandmaster Yip Man who passed away in 1972.
Wow. Puts every other Wing Chun instructor I've yet seen to shame with the exception of Ip Man and his son themselves. And if anyone has surpassed them, it's this guy.
Well, any student of Ip Man easily surpasses both of Ip Man's sons. Especially Ip Chun. He didn't even like Wing Chun and only started to learn (in his late 40s) when he notice his father is making money with kung fu.
I doubt his father really taught him everything with his past attitude.
Wow. Puts every other Wing Chun instructor I've yet seen to shame with the exception of Ip Man and his son themselves. And he might better than them as well.
I am indebted to you and your school having seen this. It is wing chun detail of the highest order. Pure knowledge from an obviously great instructor is not something I take lightly. Sharing never goes unrewarded. Thank you from Texas.
dan chi sau, at the end of your palm as he juts minimize your energy so you dont loose balance. wrist in relaxed state( like a dead fook sau) must maintain tender conection to sync energy with chum choy into a sensing bong sau.
its okay to test elbow possitioning with the bong without the person punching over bong, if you feel exesive force it should naturally waqnt to tan sau.
It's good to see some of the old students of Yip Man demonstrating. It is clear that everyone picked up things a bit different from Yip Man. I think that something can be learned from everyone.
Finally, after seeing all the LT, KK, EB, CL garbage on this site, some quality Chi Sau demo! I appreciate the translator's effort in explaining what Tsui Seung Tin said but best way to understand is to speak Cantonese due to the fact a lot of WC terminologies are quite colloquial Cantonese. Excellent footage!

He seems to have great 'sticking' and 'springy' energy in his arms, the true secret to Wing Chun. Unfortunately it something that seems to elude me!!
