  • Hmm, well I seem ot be one of the people that you are describing in this video. My vision, while extremely unstable... at certain times I can see a display in a shop (as an example) with the use of a monocular. Mine? Is probably a middle end price range. Around $80-100. It's a 10x50 . Which for right now? Is fine. Thank again for the informative and interesting video, Keep-Em Coming! :)

  • i found 1 for 7.99

  • @suzlbar Does it have the same focal range and lens type? I have a secondary moncular from Vivitar that's cheap, but it's fixed focus.

  • Hey man, how is your social life now that you have this disease, do you still hang out with those friends that you played gamecube with back in the day?

  • @XTCMatrix I've had it my whole life, and yeah usually twice a year given that our schedules are so busy.

  • Great info man... I am looking for a monocular for my EDC system. Keep those videos coming.

  • Excellent!!! Great presentation - & very worthwhile! I'm low vision & though am looking for monocular with close focus (to read grocery shelves), your review was very helpful. You are great!!!

  • wow they can be very costly.

  • a\r¡ghT th€Ñ l¤l

  • is it your birthday today?i am pretty sure that on your channel it said that you are 21 but now it says 22 lol

  • Not today - twas sometime back.

  • you should have done like a special video.

  • Nah. LOL

  • years ago they never has these!. when I wanted to catch a bus, remember years ago when you had to put out your hand!!. Well I could not see the number on the front untill it was almost on top of the bus stop, the driver would be well pissed off if I put my hand out to find it was the wrng number.

  • Interesting. I have good vision and work in a train yard. Much like the bus numbers you couldn't rad I need to accurately read the numbers of the train cars at distance so I'm not waling all over wasting time / energy. The monocular will soon resolve a lot of these issues and much more compact than binoculars.

  • I use regular bonoculares What makes this device diffrent from bonoculars?

The other one that you are talking about for closer viewing I would befefit from that one especialy in the extectronic stores or when I am at game crazy because any games that are in a glass case or vehind the counter I can not read the game titles at all with ask them if they could let me hold the game in my hand. also in resturaunts when I am standing in line I can't read the menues from the end of the line.

  • Well my guess would be the weight (it's lighter) and if you only have one eye it's more portable.

  • as in rml695's case I think he has more vision in one eye than the other as I do, these are very handy in this case as using binoculars can make your vision even more blurred, one eye tries to compensate for the other, the monocular is easy as you just close the other eye and it relaxes.

  • i had one it ws very usebul and i i have no idea what happen to it i think im goign to order one

  • I have a Specwell monocular that I've had since around 1993, I used it all the time at school when looking at things on the blackboard. I don't use it anymore, because I dropped it and one of the lenses broke free, and now rattels loosly around in the unit.

  • I suppose this is a form of a high grade telescope only much improved and compact!

  • Cool. I have a pair of binoculars xD.

    EMZ=P

  • When I was going to the school for the blind some of the students used them when we went o the zoo to see the animals that were far away.
