  • I would like to add that none of the innocent reisdents can get any packages delivered because UPS will not cross there "picket lines" the people here are innocient and should not suffer because the union thugs want to take more money out of the pockets of people who live here in rent controlled low income buildings. We are hundreds of hard working americans that are suffering for 8 months now.

  • Mike fishmen is a fatass, shit face cunt i hope you die of heart failure you bastard you love the workers money and thats all you care about fucking shithead.

  • @1131982vincent take a look in your mirror what do you see, here let me help you it should look like two cheeks and a hole.

  • I've walked by that building dozens of times ... WAY before these kids decided to peep up and protest ...

  • daytonbeach911 are you scared of democracy?? scared of opinions other than yours??

  • @daytonbeach911 Your agenda is clear, you aren't fooling anyone! Deleting comments? Blocking shareholders? Blocking SEIU Non-Supporters? Who try to state their side of the story?

People do not appreciate being commandeered, coerced or censored. We are the people, and we don't appreciate being dictated by hypocrites.

We will have democracy. We will take the time we need to decide what is just and fair for the people, not what you hypocrites think we should do and would profit from.

  • @voicenreason

you absolutely right!! I posted 2 comments several times re daytonbeach911 video, my comments got removed right away. Then i got message - "You have been blocked by the owner of this video". They pretend we don't exist. Wrong assumption! :)

i found another video, MUCH BETTER than this one!

    search youtube for YwifhDJeMeU

  • 32bj sucks!

  • @voice of reason, you are 100% correct that the men are between two bad situations. but I do not believe that the management/board are trying to do right. There are plenty of ways to come to a fair agreement for the men and the s/h. hopefully a new board will be seated. the president is too self serving and has to long of a personal agenda to allow the current board the ability to do anything. Those board members have NO VOICE,they just go along with her.

  • what board members? what tires? If the 32BJ men did this, they would in fact be on camera coming into the buildings. you say that video was bizarre? it was the rantings of a crazy person, who is in charge of the co-op's money. She plainly blames a broken window on a shareholder because she "can" as she stated. That's not leadership. What has been broken, stolen or thrown in faces? I would like to know the facts.

  • and finally, you realize that both the letters you posted, Kevin Grant and Mary Kilkeary are fictitious. neither of them are shareholders at Dayton Beach. Your SEIU link is very eye opening. I will look at it further. My concern only lies with the 24 men on the picket line and the nefarious goings on by management and the board. Thank you for the union links.

  • @seagull211 Your concern is absolutely justified. Unfortunately, the men on the picket line are between a rock and a hard place. They are stuck in the middle between a corrupt SEIU union and a mgmt/board who is trying to do right by their tenants.

  • there are security cameras ALL over Dayton property, in the presidents car and outside her door. Who slashed tires and vandalized anything? Anyone can say that, but NO ONE EVER saw any of these incidence. Why weren't the police called? Can I direct you to the video where the prez is blaming a broken window, of a car parked directly under her own balcony, on a s/h who was not even home at the time. that IS intimidation.

  • @seagull211 You speak as though you DONT live in Dayton Beach. Cameras DO NOT cover hall ways or stairs. Throwing eggs on the floors where board members live? Crazy gluing locks so they can't get home? Slashing tires in the middle of the night? This is not "things" being said to win point with the crowd, these are facts and have been documented with the police.

I saw the video, yes it was bazaar! Lets see how you'd react if every single day something was being broken, stolen, thrown in ur face.

  • They went to the table many times to negotiate with the $650.00 an hour attorney the president hired to replace the RAB. The last time was in June, when the men agreed to the demands of the president. And when they did finally agree, she pulled the offer off the table and said they needed to agree to no raise for FOUR years and a reduction in staff. There was NEVER any good faith on the side of the president.

  • @seagull211 I think there is a big difference between "fair" and greed. In this economy, everyone should be happy to have a job. Families of Dayton Beach can not afford to pay out of their own pockets for increases for select few and their union bosses. According to salary figures previously released, the workers were being paid above industry standard. The problem is that a huge chunk of it was being "stolen" in membership dues by their own bosses. Are Dayton Beach families to blame for that?

  • The 32BJ Union called the workers to strike using them as the sacrificial lambs to their multi-million dollar organization. Did they for a moment consider the workers' opinions or their family's needs? 32BJ called for them to strike over a year ago and the men chose to work without a contract, in good faith from March 2010 through July 2011.

  • 2) The check that the co-op has is a check that covered the men from February to April, it was for BACK coverage that the president REFUSED to pay. Note the cleared check was dated MAY but the coverage was for the prior three months.

  • 1) Dayton Beach and Flatbush Gardens are the only buildings that did not sign the contract as ratified by the RAB. The president fired the RAB. Dayton Beach is the ONLY building in the Mitchel Lama program that is trying to oust the 32BJ men. Do we agree with the SEIU, no, not at all, but 32BJ falls under SEIU and the 24 men on strike are 32BJ.

  • TAKE A MOMENT TO REVIEW THE FACTS, CLICK "SHOW MORE" UNDER THE VIDEO

  • @voicenreason thanks for posting this material! i checked SEIU's INTIMIDATION MANUAL.. it starts with "Pressuring The Employer"... wow! .. sounds so familiar.... and who is the Employer in this case?? Dayton's Shareholders!!

  • perhaps you should then change the title of your video to SEIU Thugs and not Dayton Beach thugs. Do you have any idea of the Thug Tactics the president and manager of Dayton have pulled over the past two and a half years. The Dayton 32BJ workers have been loyal and hardworking and their tenure ranges from 10 to 25 years. If there are SEIU members that are thugs, that's one thing, but do not label these men as thugs.

  • @daytonbeach911 Dayton Beach workers ARE and always have been, hardworking and loyal, there is no question about it. Some of us have lived in these buildings for many many years and know how valuable the staff is. The problem stems from the top of the SEIU chain. Who is this strike/battle really about? The Dayton Beach workers?? NO! It's about the union bosses wanting to deepen their own filthy pockets.

  • @daytonbeach911 change title?? why?? this IS affecting Dayton, this IS about Dayton and 32BJ!

  • Great video!!! thanks!

  • the true thugs are the union bosses, pushing their own agendas, deepening their own packets and leaving honest workers sitting on the curb, forcing them to strike....

  • cute video, but Dayton workers aren't Thugs and never have been. Dayton's president and manager are the thugs.
