  • Ohh she is a lucky girl.. She will love this..

  • Nice ingredient combo....she will love it...I am confused though. You guys are making each other soap..right? Are you sending each a bar and selling the rest? Really nice video!

  • @Mrssoappeddler Yes, that was the idea. Make a batch to the preferences of the friend, then swap one bar and sell the rest.

  • This is a really great video, love the videography style. The colors are warm and friendly just like Elizabeth.

  • They are so pretty!!!

  • Friendship soap...neat idea! I am again SO far behind on watching vids, but as you know, I always like to check yours out first, as you are so gracious about sharing information. Being high in unsaponifiables, did you need to wait more than 24 hrs. before cutting?

Guess what? My local Middle Eastern store, who stocks a few oils uncommon among regular grocery stores, just put out "Mustard Oil." Label says "Not for internal use." So...if not, then what??? I don't think I'd soap with it.

  • She's going to LOVE her soap from you, they turned out so lovely!!

  • Loved your video! I love watching videos in this format with the narration. Its so much easier to follow along. Thanks for sharing! The soap looks beautiful. :)

  • Thanks for sharing your techniques!

  • Looks awesome!!! What a great friendship soap...will you be adding it to your line?

  • @MsVcraft I will sell off the bars I made when they are cured but I have not decided whether or not to make it again yet.

  • Thats so weird...I use Labcolors all the time and never have them bleed...I wonder why you do and I dont. Hmmm. In fact they seem like one of the more stable for me. ( I am not a paid spokeschick...lol) Gorgeous soap and colors!!! Love!

  • @loriadkins I wonder if it has anything to do with the dilution rate? I just do whatever Brambleberry recommended on their site. But even in this soap, there are not sharp lines between colors. More of a blurred line. Every Labcolor I've used has done that in my soaps. Maybe I will try one undiluted or just mixed with a little glycerin and see if it sharpens it up.

  • @loriadkins I just asked about labcolors bleeding on Brambleberry's facebook and they said since they are dyes they will "always bleed" so there ya go. They seem to be okay for when you only want your soap one color. Do you dilute yours? Because I do, using brambleberry's instructions.

  • @EdentiaFarms Hi Bon...I DO delete at the suggested rate. I have really good luck with them. I used them almost exclusely for awhile and never once had them bleed. I cant figure out why yours do and mine dont. Hmm.

  • it looks beautiful bonnie! :)

  • is there any change to purchase this soap? :))

  • @irapov No change. I will put it in the store when it's cured. Expect to see it early Feb. :)

  • @EdentiaFarms lol, I meant chance!!! chance to buy the soap, thanks for understanding!

  • Great video. You rock...

  • Great video. Really loved watching the whole process. I thought how lucky for Elizabeth, she would really enjoyed that soap. Thanks so much, Linda

  • hmmm..well ok, for me there is no picture, just sound. :(

  • @MyNaturesArt weird, must be a glitch. Maybe try refreshing or watch later?

  • Lol I kept playing with the bar wondering why the sound worked but the picture wasnt moving!!

  • Thank you so much..I, too, enjoy the new video format. Makes so much sense. Thank you also for posting the recipe, how lovely. Happy New Year!

  • It's beautiful!

  • Very nice Bonnie :O)

  • The soap looks wonderful and it was extremely gracious of you to provide your recipe!

I've also got to tell you how much I enjoy your new video format (hmmm...is that the right terminology?). Anyway...it really is a pleasure to watch this video!

  • @MoultrieBookkeeping I got a nice microphone for Christmas. Well, I got it for myself, does that count??? =) I have kids and naturally, they are loud in the background, even when they are on the other side of the house. I decided to narrate over the videos to make them more focused. I'm glad you like the new style. It also cuts out the loud blending noises while making soap and all the paper crunching that can get loud. Thanks! :) Bonnie

  • Beautiful soap Bonnie, I am sure Elizabeth will love it. I liked her soap as well she made for you. They both turned out so nice. Let us know how your liked your soap when you get it.

    Happy 2012!!

  • What a great tutorial & soap for Elizabeth ! You even posted the recipe. That was so nice of you.

    You Rock Bonnie !

  • wow it turnedout wondeful, love the rich colors of it.
