I have a 86 735i vert, everything is good until I reach about 3800 rpm's then the engine has a power loss and fire. I have checked the fuel pressure regulator, the full throttle switch the mass air flow sensor crankshaft sensor ,coil spark plug, coil wire, distiboters, no luck so far, any ideas on what I should do next....rep me please thxxx
im curious of these m30 engines. what parts do you use from the 745 and what were they used for? is it to stroke the engine with the 745 pistons and stuff?
It actually was the first start of the 2nd build. Seems like ancient history now. I've since installed a completely refreshed motor with turbo pistons, yada yada. I need an updated vid, but with a 20 month old and one on the way it's hard to find time. Thanks for looking!
@cvillebimmer Can't wait for your new vids to be uploaded. I'd love to see and hear when you push it really hard. The vids should be taken from outside of the car, too. Thx.
Looks clean as hell. Have you thought about running a real stand-alone EMS with map sensor etc. ? No MAF or other useless space taking junk in engine bay anymore.
I have ordered AEM for my M50B25 turbo build in E30.
pretty sweet car, that hand motion you did at 1:21 was a bit creepy though.

@2soccerfreak2 : Manifold, turbo, wastegate and some plumbing. Stock m30 internals are pretty robust.
