Most of the examined bursts they have noted come from very distant galaxies. Meaning not in the MIlky Way. And in order for a GRB to have any effect it would have to aimed directly at the Earth. And the odds of that happening are very distant.

Well done. You have no idea how light, gravity, and vacuum work. You're now fully qualified to be a moon landing denialist! :D
1) Visor distorts the shape of the shadow, because, yknow, it's a curved visor.
2) Speeding up the footage does not make it behave like movement on earth. Light straps and their arms would bounce more violently in Earth gravity.
3) Also, the dust doesn't "cloud" like dust kicked up in an atmosphere would. It travels in a clear ballistic arc, as dust would in a vacuum.

Look at the comical Apollo 17 take off footage. A real take off from the Moon would not only produce exhaust plume but also a visible tail for many miles(just like the comets in principle) against the blackness of space due to no atmosphere on the lunar sky. Moonlanding my ass.

Well, the times they were different. People wanted to beat the russians to it and not feel bad about loosing yet another race. Once that was achieved, the US lost interest and stopped investing in the project. Anyway, if it was an hoax, they did some good work.

@rickyd0821 - Improvements in space tech is not measured simply by how far man has got, there are countless areas where huge improvements have been made, from the duration man can spend in space and stay healthy (vital if we're to get to Mars), to the numerous probes sent to other planets and the Sun, rovers on the surface of Mars, the Hubble telescope, the Space Station, the Shuttle, satellite tech etc. The planned man missions to Mars will be made possible by the progress made since Apollo.

This is my opinion: They had the whole world watching them when they went to the moon, and they had to make sure they could show the world the landing but what if something went wrong with the transmition, they had to have backup footage to show the world if something went wrong and it did hence the mockup footage that was shown to the world. The vast majority of these guys were test pilots, you know, guys who put their lives on the line testing new aircraft designs, usually with no ejector seat should something go wrong. These are NOT the kind of guys who, unlike you by your own admission, shout from the rooftops saying how great THEY are ;), these guys are professionals, they were chosen for what they could DO, not for their media skills.

@thecubanism Have you ever traveled in space or know what it does to your system, not just the take off point which puts more excersion on the body than anything else. In space you don't have the benifit of the protection from the O-zone layer to keep you from being blasted by ultra-violet rays. Even the precautions they take in providing some protection doesn't block out everything. Your bones and muscles are weakened, and you feel sick. They probably just wanted to be left alone.

I believe that we went to the moon. The new sattelites have pictures of the equiptment that we left on the moon. That should settle it. However, I think there was many thinks that were discovered that have been covered up. Why is our flag missing? the hasselblad is only pointing down because the astronaut is bending slightly, to take pics straight ahead (of which the are many) they had to lean back slightly. The LM shadow does not go directly behind neil armstrong but in the same direction as Buzz's shadow. I don't know where you get that one from. If it were faked, dont you think NASA would be sensible enough to remember that there is only one sun in the solar system? You've mistaken your ignorance for open mindedness.

The energy in a gamma ray burst is equal to a sun's 10 billion year life span compacted into a few seconds or minutes. These gamma ray bursts come from every direction in space every second of the day. There is no way the apollo craft could have survived a hit from a gamma ray burst. End of story. Yes it says that gamma bursts occur at the rate of about one per day, BUT they occur in OTHER FREAKIN GALAXIES!!!! The only gamma bursts that would have any affect on the earth would be the ones that happened in our galaxy. Gamma ray bursts occur in our galaxy at the rate of one every 100,000 to 1,000,000 years. If Ap 11 is fake then all the Apollo missions that claimed to have left orbit are fake.
My problems are:
1. no blasting of dust away from the exhause
2. the camera "remotely operated from earth" that panned up as the lunar lander lifted off.
Now, if you have a camera on the moon and a monitor on earth, how long does it take the signal to reach you...5..7...10 seconds? So how can someone on earth keep up with the motion of the lift off?

@Daddyo930 Did you even read the article on wiki. It talks about how rare they are and how they are related to the death of a star. Our sun has not died therefore it has produced 0 GRB. Most of the examined bursts they have noted come from very distant galaxies. Meaning not in the MIlky Way. And in order for a GRB to have any effect it would have to aimed directly at the Earth. And the odds of that happening are very distant.
