  • I liked it a lot the camera work was great. great job

  • Sorry, is the same style as the Hung Suen Wing Chun of Garret Gee, because by forms that make me more reminiscent of the Weng Chun of Sergio Iadarola…. Nice video

  • Lee started learning Red boat when he got to America in 1959.

  • Bruce Lee studied Red Boat after Yipman held back moves

  • Great video ! Thanks for posting .A breath of fresh air after all the boring , "Wooden Stick Men " playing Vids.!

  • The very end of the video, after the throw/takedown, the comraderie after he helps up his fellow kung fu brother was a great example to all in martial arts.

    ~Cg~

  • This is China 咏春拳.很厉害吧`呵呵`

  • Nice work

  • Very interesting video-clip and professionally made. It shows very clearly the difference of the Redboat Weng Tsun body-movement-concept in comparison to the commonly known Kung Fu branches as Wing Tsun/ Chun,... I´d like to cross hands with this guy, just to find out more.

  • hung suen wing chun kuen (redboat wing chun))was passed down by ko-lo chung and da-fai min kum they were 2 of the red boat gatekeepers 1 of there top students was chu-kim shing and he taught lee tak shan then to his son lee tak sing and his son lee hoi shan who also studie other systems like hung gar kuen whose huang fei hung passed down to fung wing bil and then to lee tak sing thats the short version of were redboat wing chun and hung gar stem from

  • @kungfuhustlingninja: sorry, but before comming out with indignities, please first concentrate on what you're writing about. After that you could know that his name was 'Chi Sim' for example.

  • haha interesting, "stylistic" interpretation of the siu nim tao in the beginning, to say the least. the wing chun looks more dancelike than the wing chun i'm used to, which is more practical looking, but it looks decent enough. maybe different in looks, but i'm sure the pak still feels like a pak.

  • wingtsun20- as long as you judge by the standards you know you will go wrong. go and meet him, even cross hands to find out about his mental and physical abilitys.

tohyeowteck- you are correct, there is NO centerline principle, so it is NOT wing chun. also watch the clips

"weng chun"/"weng chun training" (same style)and "pang nam chi sao" (closely related).

weng chun has a completly different idea of body usage than wing chun.

  • the video is great. looks serious and professional...

  • it just another style of wing chun. there are many style of wing chun of which the forms are different from one another but the center line principle remain or else it not wing chun

  • Wingtsu20, I don't think he is retarded, just a little different. If you check out their web site, you can find out they teach all kinds of stuffs, Qi Gung, Kung Fu, Weng Tsun, not Wing Tsun as in Scum-Fu Leung Ting's LTWT. Weng Chun has a little more movements like other southern styles. That may explain why the jerking moves of the body. BTW, LT is still a Sin-Jo.

  • Does he have mental retardation!? The first clip of him doing his movements looks like he has uncontrollable Weng Tsun?

  • lol, hope you are being sarcastic, those are just movements being fast forwarded
