  • That is one beauty, the B-52 is still in service, and delivers more assortment of weapons than the B-1 and B-2 both. Expected to finally retire in 2040, that will be 85 years of continuous service.

  • Lonewolf, I too walked close in with the 92d Bomb Wing B-52's and KC-135's with the 92d Security Police Squadron, ended up making Staff Sergeant before i left the Air Force in 1982.

  • Damn, haven't seen the 379th Buffs since '75. Walked many Close-In Security Posts in the BAA & TAA before cross-training into K-9.

    Saw a grand display of the Northern Lights in March of '73, .. Met a lot of great ppl there from many AFSCs. Those grand times. '73-'75.
