I think Cynthia was the Prettiest wife of all the Beatles Wifes . ( In my opinion) she was the nicest and was mostly there for the Beatles (my favorite band ever) . I do have a conspiracy theory about George and Joey Heatherton who dated long distance for months after the 1964 US tour. Last thing written, "They were enriching the conversation with their constant "long" distance calls." and then under cover I bet away from the prying eyes of the press. 1965 George goes into grumpy anti-Beatle self-destructive mode and Joey cuts her hair like a Beatle a goes out thrusting her hot little bod all over American TV. Anyway, Joey Heatherton was the BOMB!
Amydicked - (Nice Name) I do agree. The more I read about the Beatles, many of these girlfriends/wifes were celebrity profile wives/girlfriends. I am almost convinced George's marriage to Pattie was a sham - The proposal was suspicious, the massive press conference (when George hated the press) and the papparazzi following them on their honeymoon to capture the "happy couple". And then added that he really treated Pattie like a lawnmower and so many bought into it..
Cynthia became Mrs. Lennon because Johnny Boy knocked her up---it was an aw shit moment. She was 'pre-fame' and his 'Starter Wife. Starter wives usually get pitched once the real money comes in. Janie was too good for Macca and pitched him when she stopped by early and Macca was breaking in 'a fan'. Patty was Harrison's 'lawnmower' who he lent to his bud Eric on a more or less permanent basis. Maurine was another 'Beatle Starter Wife'.
Let's not forget the others they dated - Jackie Deshannon, Peggy Lipton and Joey Heatherton. These were were just their English girlfriends. Beatles had chicks on the other side of the Atlantic too. Honestly, if it wasn't for distance, competing schedules and protective fathers who knows who these guys really wanted and would have ended up with. I have my doubts all their famous love songs were about Jane, Cynthia and Pattie. Especially when other women were in the picture....
Janie was an accomplished actress who was 'slumming' when she hooked up with SIR James. Macca wanted a woman who would hang on his every word and be happy being Mrs. Beatles. That woulda happened had it not been for her 'suprise' visit to see Paul (now THAT was a suprise!!!). She pitched Paulie which caused him to run to the arms of Linda, the Beatles Wife. Then he married Pegleg the Pirate despite his kids begging him not to and now the RICH BITCH. Oh Well
