  • I don't understand how one of the whispers is Ben when he is the one hearing them :|

  • nice i found a site with the whisper transcripts Before Shannon gets shot Relax dude, I think she likes the guy" "You're life" "Ich weiß nicht" (German for 'I don't know') "Look out" "Ana’s the trigger" "You're gonna kill her" "Move on" (Gun shot) "See ya" So were do these whispers come from????
  • i think we assume that Ben's mother was MIB, and it was all in his plan to make Ben part of his long con to kill jacob.

  • I want to download the whispers tone . but I can't find it anywhere ! can anybody help me ? plz ...

  • these sound correct, but dosnt make heaps of sence, because if its the people who are dead and cant leave the island, why would it be ben? idk its confuzing shit lol

  • well at least we now know what those whispers are.

  • Its ghost of people traped on the island that are unable to leave due to Bad deeds they have done

  • Johhhhn!!!!!!

THE MOST IMPORTANT DISCOVERY IN LOST!!!

    VERY GOOD VIDEO!!

  • @chemaSPANISH

The last 5 seconds with Locke is a part (a horn maybe) of Giacchinos score not a voice in the episode

  • @tvrulesnation

Damn, woulda been cool if it was like Boone's ghost or something trying to warn him

  • Fuuuuckk!!!Last 5 seconds really creepy...shit..

  • At first I was wondering if these whispers were echoes of Ben's memories or something. The Smoke monster seems to scan people's memories (like Mr. Eko) and then use that to his advantage in manipulating them (appearing as Yemi, etc.). But . . . IDK. I can't remember if this scene with Ben is the first time he encountered his "mom" in the forest or not?

  • @AleezaChocolat This is the first time he encountered his mother. It seems to be a mixture of something talking to Ben and his own thoughts.

  • MIB!!

  • The last five seconds creeped me right the fuck out

  • no doubt its the monster(MiB) theres just too many clues to go against it.

  • Massive kudos for the effort!

(Working on the season 6 pilot yet? ;D)

  • Not yet, but several years ago I did transcribe the S4 episode where Hurley goes to the cabin. I haven't made a vid of it, but it said: Man: "Come to me, I need you. You're an alchemist and uh..." Woman: "I need-" Man (Sounds like Christian Shephard): "Sarah, Is somebody coming?" Woman: "They must be coming, you-" Man: "Hush! One of these-" (Shushing- shhh, shht!) Woman: "Richard!" Man: "Come with us." Woman: "Here's the recipe." Man: "Oh thank you, I thought I'd lost-" Hurley: "Uh oh."
  • @nightdancer342 Yeah the whispers don't seem to make much sense at all. I think it was just something to spook people, but now the show is ending and the producers have to come up with a legitimate explanation of them. I hope we're not disappointed.

  • Very interesting video. I'd never realized the dialogue to the whispers was something as meaningful as this might be. Well, it kind of does make sense, because Ben has become MiB's bitch now.

  • Its the Jacob's enemy. The man in black shirt= smoke monster

  • This is the demon MiB who talks.

  • it´s fascinating, great video.... well..... lost is an great epic faitfull and creepy show.... the best show ever...

  • The whispers might be warnings, like if you look at the ending, where it says "JOOOHN!" it is probably someone warning Locke not to do whatever he's doing, or for little Ben not to cross the polls because something dangerous might happen.

  • Woo-that's pretty creepy,I never watched much of Lost, but it sure looks to be a pretty creepy series.

  • Awesome!

  • It would be cool if season 6 played the scenes with the whispers clearly audible.

  • omfg right when the altogether

thing started my phone rang and

i freaked out now my heart is

    pounding lmfao

  • LOL, I'm sorry!

  • @lazylaugher03

    hahahahaha

  • whats the name of the song in the last 5 secs of the video???

  • Im think that demonic laught and man's voice belong to Jacob's enemy.

  • it sounds like megatron

  • I do feel that all of the "whispers" have actual meaning, and I thank you for your attempt with this one, it looks pretty great to me.

  • I think that it's that man who was jacob's enemy.

  • Yes, It definitely seems so now. yikes!

  • ya its him trying to get his "loophole" from ben... thats why he called him his prisoner

  • Of course it's part of something bigger, nothing random is ever put in Lost, the creators even have incredibly small details with bigger meanings, like some of the comic books which pass by for a second which contains stories that might have some clues in them, or the names of stores or boats etc. which can have a meaning or be an anagram.

But I think we'll have to wait for the next season to figure out what the whispers are

  • But... are these part of the writters Lost plot or just randomly whispers? Cause some whispers doesn't make any sense, I think...

    What do you people think?

  • Usually they don't make sense because people translate them incorrectly. Without the proper editing tools for sound it's difficult to make any sense of them as some of the audio is played backwards. I did the Hurley cabin scene as well and it had some interesting results. I haven't done a video version of it yet, because it was difficult to save it in a version that was clear enough to make out.

  • That John part is creepy was that in the aired version?

  • Yes, All of this is from the aired version on ABC.

  • its obviously the others / jacob that make the whispers. Remember when Ben says to danielle, "you ever hear whispers you run the other way!" ... i think it's just something they developed to scare people off.

  • Seas 5 finale The Incident

  • I think that the man is Jacob. But, it is weird because it sounds like Ben is young when he talks in the whispers and he is with his mom, so it doesn't make sence.

  • I think its dead people :P

  • Comment removed

  • Ok look this is just off the top of my head but I have a feeling the whispers are from a different reality.

As in the one where Sun and Frank are in with Christian Locke and Ben.

I think they are all dead, they died in the plane crash thus why they never went back in time with Kate, Jack, Hurley etc..

  • What really annoys me is that they still haven't explained the large statue, smoke monter, how did Ben know where the time bending wheel was, why is Walt special?

  • Creepy.. /:

  • There's a theroy that the wisphers are the people on the island back in time

  • yeah i pretty much summed that up as i watched the first and second ep of season 5, finally we are getting somewhere with lost :)

  • Doesn't explain why 'the others' always show up after we hear the whispers though.

  • another theory is it's actually dead people

  • Its thought they're half dead people, and they exsist in a period of time but not in the time there people hearing them are that time round.

  • Also, what was up with what Ben said in Dead is Dead about if you hear whispers to run the other way.

  • think he knows alot about them?

  • Hm...

  • He knows a lot about everything. He just makes us think he doesn't

  • the whispers summon the black smoke or somthing do they not

because remember the black smoke makes a weird sound aswell.

not sure will look into it .

  • The "Johnnnn" part sounds like Jack.

  • I already knew of the John scream, but the Ben stuff I never knew about. That freaked me out! I wonder who the scream came from? I heard everything from Boone(in season one people said he screamed "john" like that) to Jack to Baby Aaron.

  • its the joooooooooohn part at the end that creeps me out because it is definitely there, locke hears it. at first it seemed to be a part of the score or an animal or something but it is definitely john.

  • that's cool but why would Aaron change his name.. unless ben did kidnap him and take him back in time to be raised as jacob. hmm.

  • That is really creepy! And very awesome =D

  • i wonder how they are going to explain all these...

  • In one of the episodes, Miles < the creepy ghost physic guy hears the whispers. He's with Claire and Sawyer, he's the only one that can hear them. Then he digs underground and founds Rousseau and Karl's bodies. Their the ones whispering.

I think the whispering is everyone that's died on the Island.

  • That sounds very accurate!! Next week's episode is about Miles so...maybe we'll get answer!?

  • this is so weird i JUST watched this episode =p

and the whispers always creep me out and make me hide behind my pillow cuz i know something bad is about to appear =O

  • scary!

  • it's may be a mix of minds, consciences of alives and death people, whatever

  • If you want to know ALL of the whispers go to lostpedia, it has what the whispers say in each episode they appear(or whatever), it is very interesting.

  • I think the whispers control Jacob, the island and the monster. The monster seeks people who are worth being with the whispers. Boone, Shannon and Nikki are with the whispers. I don't know if eko and Charlie are with the whispers. Frank Duckett, the man Sawyer killed in Australia, is with the whispers to. Some who die on the island will never leave the island. They become the Whispers.I based this on what the whispers are saying, and on a tube where the monster scans the historie of mr.Eko.

  • Interesting theory! I like it!

  • yes but ben mom's have not died on the island (sory my english)

  • Yes, Richard seemed very interested in the fact that Ben saw his mother on the island even though she did not die there.

  • Hey thanks!!!I always wanted to know what the voices say!!!

  • We need the ones from beginning of the end.

  • Absolutely! But really, any excuse to learn should be a good thing, right everybody? lol. But then with my mother being a psychology major, I'm surrounded with that on a daily basis. So all of that DHARMA stuff speaks to me.

  • Yes, Lost is an excellent intelectual challenge. For instante, to solve the Desmond issue, we will need to undertand (at least at a theoretical level) some principles of Einstein's special relativety theory. Finally people will have an excellent excuse to learn (or try to) physics!! xD

  • Sara,Your discovery is very interesting to me, because the possibility that, far in the past, people had manipulated and practiced the alquimia is a clear clue that the island could be the lost Atlantis. Maybe we can discuss this ideas later. (See below for some examples..)

  • A little example: Excesive techonlogy and Alquimia development (Spiritism and telekinesis) could offer explanations for mysteries like the imposibility of conceiving new borns on the island, and the Jacob's anger to technology (Becuase the myth of Atlantis claims first, that gods punished people, denying to women the possibility of conceiving children. And second, that people who lived there were killed by gods because they try to be like them (maybe with the volcanic eruption))

    Keep in touch!

  • Interesting! I love the whole mythology of LOST, it's so intriguing. The show's writers put so many references out there. I've been wondering if Jacob isn't actually being controlled by someone too... The reason for that being, is Ben's line, "We all answer to someone..." So who does Jacob answer to?

  • Man, awesome work.

Maybe you could do the same with the whispers of SO4E01, after Hurley found the Jacob's Cabin. I think that whispers could reveal very important information about the nature of Jacob. (Some people think that the names of some Losties are claiming there in relation with Jacob's identity )

    Congratulations!

  • Yes, I did actually transcribe that episode, it does have some interesting information in those whispers; such dialog as, "You are an alchemist"- so perhaps that's why there is no sickness on the island or aging with Richard Alpert. I haven't posted a video yet, as I had to slow down the playback especially on the program and I haven't figured out how to save it on my computer like that yet. What I find interesting is that dead people's voices and live people's thoughts are in the whispers.

  • whenever we hear whispers in lost it's Jacon reading peoples minds. Some people he can communicate with telepathically like Ben & Locke

  • Pretty cool. I love how there's so many clues and stuff in the show. Has there ever been any show but Lost where the audience has gotten to play detective so much?

  • Not that I know of, but I dig it! lol. But then my dream job as a kid was always to be a spy or a detective so I guess that's why I like it so much. haha!

  • I can't imagine how many frikkin ghosts are on that island. i'd be wayy too freaked to go roaming around that by myself.

  • No kidding. Ben is so messed up, but no wonder! It should be called torment island with Christian, Yemi and Emily wandering around. LOL.

  • Oh gosh, this is really scary isn't it? Poor little Ben! No wonder he's so insane now. HAHA!

  • I watched this several times and got really freaked out.

This is very cool! I hope you find more of these hidden 'conversations'! Thanks a lot for this, I'll show this to my friends :)

  • Nice job... what's up with (presumably jacob) shouting 'JOOOHN' at the end?

  • I don't know, But it certainly is strange isn't it?

  • The last scream was the creepiest, I think.

    Good job!

  • nice one Sara, I am mad excited for the new season. cheers

  • Isn't that freaky? Can't wait for season 4!
