  • Hey Justin just something you may want to put in the info... at 3:15 you say 5th fret, but mean 7th. Thanks again for the great lesson

  • Hello Justin, What a great series of lessons for this powerful song. You break it down so well and for the first time I can learn to play it without guessing and I can actually hear myself playing some of the chord progressions of the song which I have never done before. Great! Your teaching style is easy for me to pick up so thanks. I am still a novice beginner but I have strong hands and use a Strat as well so maybe after much practice i can learn more. Thanks again take care

  • You just got corrected by a 13 year old from Sweden lol;D

  • best guitar lesson on youtube award goes to..... Justin from Austria! Word bro great lesson, I thought you was british and I would make fun of how you talk but your info says you're from Austria, cool! Every fought a kangaroo?

  • Lol Austria is in Europe close to Switzerland^.- you must be talking about Australia hehe:D

  • whaaaaaat? Wow I shouldn't of dropped out in 9th grade.... lmao.

  • how can you make fun of the way british people speak english when it is a british invention?

  • Austrailia. Word bro..Austrailia. Austria, in Europe where Jimi Hendrix came from............

  • Hendrix was American. He was born in Seatlle

  • just thanks, you are great man. thanks thanks.

  • woh man beautiful lesson it felt like 1 hour thx so much keep up the good work great lesson.

  • about the pickups, if your using a strat you can use the second to last setting going towards the back without any distortion and it doesnt sound all that bad

  • Great stuff. I had learned the intro somewhat before, but was too lazy to learn the actual Jimi-licks from tabs. This one helped a lot. BTW, I think Jimi was using the "in-between" setting" with his pick-ups (mid pu+neck-pu). Actually I'm quite shure of this one :) Thanks alot!

  • lol. i love u justin(in a student to teacher that dont know each-other kind of way...)

  • Thanks Justin, you've really broken this down nicely and I believe I can actually learn this intro now. Other postings seem to be pretty complex.

  • justin, you are the best teacher on the net...don't listen to those who say you're to verbal, it's because you are so thorugh that we are able to learn from you. I learned solo blues from you, thank you now I can play a little something for my grandkids....I'll be working on this soon.

  • Muchas gracias desde Argentina. La verdad, muy bien explicado, muchisimas gracias !.

    From Argentina.

  • you're my new favorite person. this is by far the best lesson ive ever seen. you didnt skip out on any details and took it slow , keep on doing what youre doing.

  • at 4:45 I hear a C after Am rather than going straight to the G if you listen closely to song

  • hey joe i wrote hey jos sorry

  • hello justin. i love your lessons and i love jimi henrix. can you make a hey jos lesson a son a possible.

  • Great Justin. Very good, you're great! Greetings from Brasil.

  • I wanted to play this song since forever tanx a mil, it deserves more than 5*, now wud it be cheeky of me to ask for the solo?

  • Justin that is simply awesome, you're a great musician and teacher, good work!

  • thankyou kindly :)

  • [round of applause] Thank you very much for teaching me Little Wing

  • i had the first ten seconds or so of the intro, but i just got the rest......thanks a bunch.....im gonna post a cover once i get the whole song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Pretty cool lessons. I picked up a few new things that will help me play Little Wing more authentically. It seems like all the different versions (lessons) out there contain a small piece of the puzzle that makes up Little Wing. You version is by far one of the best available on the Internet.

    Great video.

  • P.S.,

I think your lesson is the best.

  • Hendrix was a guitar god, you're guitar god teacher ;)

Thanks a big lot for doing this

  • That was a great lesson man, thanks alot! Been tryin to ge this tune right for years.

  • your hat perfect match up to your guitar :)

  • a splinter of wood from hendrix's frost white stratocaster somehow made its way into that 86' and blessed this cat with epic hendrix-esque chops!

    lol

    godly video mate!

  • nice one mate...

  • Let's get some Hey joe

  • you're making the hendrix lick walk down way to hard on yourself..........you don't have to play it with open E string.... you can play it starting on the first finger on the B string on 3rd fret, then 5th fret on the high e fir your basic shape.......otherwise great video.......

  • thanks so much justin! just brilliant

  • Thank you so much Justin! I never in my wildest dreams thought that I would be able to play this intro but now I can all thanks to you! Your a Legend Justin. Keep up the brilliant work.

  • Cool even if you think you know how to play little wing this vid really hones in the nuances of the intro! excellent work

  • Awesome, Justin! I've been trying to learn this for a long time, now I can totally play it. How about making a lesson on some verse variations? That'd be really usefull.

  • Didn't read all replies, so this may have been answered. I am relatively sure, but would bet my life on it, that Hendrix set it between front and middle pickup.

  • Comment removed
