BARRERA should've been deducted at least 2 points for 2 rabbit punches, 2 elbows and CLINCHING TOO MUCH IN THE LAST 2 ROUNDS. how did he win? he was clinching too much because he was fatigued. I don't get it.

Neither fighter completly dominated eachother in the first two fights to prove one was better then the other. 1st fight was definietly Barrera 2nd fight was morales by one point or even a draw. No need to hate, just appreciate the sport and skill of each fighter. Both are great warriors.

I would rather have Morales retire. He cemented his status as a great Mexican fighter. But if you continue to put fans on the seats and still make money, its hard to let go of the sport. Watch the Chavez documentary he says that; not in the same words though.

I disagree. Morales wasn't really doing shit. He didn't land any of the cleaner punches, and he kept being beaten to the punch by Barrera. Barrera landed the cleaner, and more effective blows, and was banging Morales to the body.

OK..after watching all their fights, here are my conclusions:

1. barrera won the first fight because he was more aggressive and looked powerful.

2. morales won the 2nd due to his superior technical skills and ring generalship

3. the third fight should've went to morales or worse, a draw: barrera won the first 6 rounds, and morales won the last six. although barrera should've been slapped three deductions: 2 rabbit punches and one elbow shot. the referree was either blind or paid by barrera's team.

Morales, i believe in you, you will emerge victorious in 2009 against Juan Manuel Marquez.
