  • We need him to deal with the UK :)

  • Thank. You. SOMEBODY TEACH THOSE GERMANS A LESSON!!!!

  • japanese sub?

  • he doesnt actually say racist, he says racialist from what i heard

  • * I love the grammaphone with the applaude*

  • IM 9 ITS FUNNY IM NOT RACIST I AM REALY to

    PAKYS

  • Classic. I hope one day our sketch group can be as funny as MP.

  • @OddSqodd wouldn't count on it. that's like saying you hope you'll one day be as good as jimi hendrix

  • If you said anything remotely serious in the comments section of this vid, then CLEARLY,yer a fuckin idiot

  • Brilliant! Most common phrase still "Im not racist but...". My own interpretation is this sketch is satirising those who were reviving fascist movements in Britain. Probably a stab at Mosley who did a lot of marches and speeches in communities. Also, probably a dig at those people who clearly couldn't be MORE racist if they tried and yet claim they are not. A sketch that is still relevant today I'd say.

  • Chaplin lampooned Hitler in 1940 in the movie the Great Dictator. Look it up!

  • @FlyingMindKiller It was also Chaplin's moustache which stood model for the moustache of Hitler. Hitler was a big fan of Chaplin, and thoroughly enjoyed The Great Dictator as it also took the piss on Mussolini.

  • Im sorry i dont understand what hes saying

  • @FaxeBeerserker "I'm not a racist, but-- And this is a big but..."

  • @SomewhatDisturbed95 Okay then i dont understand what is funny about it

  • Hahaha this is the funniest shit ive ever seen!!!

  • Anyone who finds this offensive is missing the point, it is a piss take of the SUPPOSEDLY master race.

  • What a Hero, much love from the children of Palestine

  • Anyone who finds this offensive is a retard.

  • @conmadben well.. Germans would.. but that says something lol

  • It´s hopeless to speak to the english - this people is to dumb to understand nationalsocialism !

  • @finsterwald181167 Interestingly enough, Hitler based many of his policies off Churchill's ideas.

  • @sockschappercat

I wouldn't compare 40's britain to the third reich just because they both wanted to steamroll through moscow...

  • @xTheGerbilx No, Churchill wanted to introduce eugenics and other policies circa 1910, but was stopped by parliament.

  • @sockschappercat interesting - maybe thats why Hitler stopped the tanks at Dunkirk ? He always said Britain had a role to play in the new order . And they both hated Stalin . Politics eh ?

  • @richimorton Its simple really: the British royal family has been German for centuries, and as far as Hitler saw it German meant they were on his side. Then he found out that the royal family weren't as important as he thought and before he knew it the Luftwaffe were in ruins and the RAF were making a mess of Germany.

  • I noticed he said "mittelschmerz". What on earth would Mr. Hilter want to do with menstrual cramps?

  • I

    AM NOT

    A RACIALIST

  • if you dont like nazi spoof dont see nazies from the dark side of the moon hey....at least there not muslims

  • BIS

  • meh, stop making nazispoofs. its nvr funny. like when the 3 stooges did it

  • @KuwaitF22 This is an old Monty python sketch. Go back to the 70's and tell them that.

  • @KuwaitF22 If you can't laugh at the Nazis nearly 70 years on then you're obviously very easily offended.

  • @SuperSmashyfication or a holocaust survivor perhaps?

  • @fingerpickups No, Holocaust survivors should learn to deal with their painful memories without condemning anything nazi-related as offensive. The Jews for example have become so fixated on the crimes against them that it is beginning to obscure their entire culture. People should focus more on what they have done than what has happened to them.

  • @SuperSmashyfication ahhh fuckup

  • @fingerpickups Aw, you don't like being wrong do you?

  • @SuperSmashyfication not so much that, its just that when you argue with a retard they drag you down to their level then beat you with experience, lets examine what you said, "Holocaust survivors should learn to deal with their painful memories without condemning anything nazi-related as offensive" i'm failry certain if you were a holocaust survivor you would find anything related to nazi's offensive, but its ok, they should just deal with it, your so right, /FACEPALM

  • @SuperSmashyfication on a side note, i am not, and do not find this offensive, infact i love monty python to death, just trying to give a fucktard some perspective, kthnx (please save your carefully worded response for someone who gives a fuck)

  • @SuperSmashyfication They can not learn - they are so traumatic that they speak with smile from their time in the camp !

  • @SuperSmashyfication

I politely disagree, sir. The purpose of history is to study past mistakes so we can avoid repeating them. The Holocaust did not happen out of thin air; it was because of a combination of factors leading to the Germans concluding that attempted genocide of the Jews was a peachy keen idea.

So, we remember the Holocaust so we can ask ourselves, "Under what conditions would we repeat the crimes of the Nazis, and how to make sure we never do so?"

  • @MartialArtsMaster I agree completely with your description of history, but our study has clearly come to naught, as racial genocide is still being committed worldwide, particularly in the Middle East by the Israelis, Islamic extremists and (to a certain extent) the US military. We are obviously not learning from the mistakes of others, as the way the rest of the world sees it, We Didn't Start the Fuhrer.

  • @SuperSmashyfication Chaplin already made fun of hitler in the 50's I think, so I don't see the problem either ^^

  • Comment removed

  • @SuperSmashyfication zig hail

  • @TheWhyareyouracist sieg heil

  • @KuwaitF22 Actually, more people should have laughed at Hitler while they had the chance. Especially the Germans.

  • That's hilarious.

  • Get off your high horses! He is magnificent as playing Hitler, and we might as well laugh, there have been too many tears shed~

  • I love Monty Python but this isn't one of their best sketches. The only part that's a little funny is that they've changed their names just a little in order to hide their true identities in England. Ex. Hitler is how "Mr. Hilter," and Himmler is now "Bimmler."

  • NEIN NEIN NEIN NEIN!

  • This language I don't know is translated into another language I don't know. How helpful.

  • Lol at the homos discussing politics and history on a monty python video

  • @L33Tkitten97 yea really funny when they start talking about the historical context ain't it?

  • @L33Tkitten97 You're right, a comedy troupe writing intelligent political, religious and social satire would probably laugh at us for being stupid enough to discuss the topics they satirize. How stupid of us "homos".

  • Yeah we need him in power.

  • Nazisum socialism capitalism, all the same to me all use propaganda and have the haves and have nots.

  • Liberty of expression o we have that in britian today, it just i can'T get past the concrete barriers surrounding parliament to vent my liberty of expression.

  • That's not completely accurate. The secret of National Socialism, and therefore Hitler's secret, was to mix the fundamental fascist with socialism, fact that made him be in war with german fascists in the beginning of his years as a Furher. If you look into the german society of those days, they had social services as modern democratic socialism, although they didn't have liberty of expression.

  • What a charismatic guy. I like him. Where can i vote for him?

  • @loveandpeace71 I think that's Rebeca Blacks old man... seems legit.

  • Mittelschmertz gestoppen sein.

  • I find what black people do offensive, I find what white people do offensive, I find what fat people do offensive, I find what smoking people do offensive, I find what fucking people do offensive. - take your new world order preaching somewhere else 66Fallout66Man66 and train someone else in the ways of the jedi.

  • i find this offensive

  • Not much fun in Stalingrad...

  • Hitler would never have succeeded in Britain. He wouldn't stand out; we're a whole nation of right wing megalomaniacs with delusions of world domination and bad taste in moustaches.

  • @Ohfishyfishyfish what if he told them the world´s deadliest joke instead? that would stand out wouldn´t it?

  • @Ohfishyfishyfish

Hitler wasn't right wing. He was left.

  • @gamewizard hitler was right wing. sorry - he was an extreme facist. the left wing is communist. Stalin was an extreme left wing. thats why they were enemies during WW2 - conflicting opinions in politics. facism is basically elitist while communism encourages equality for all. hope this clears up the confusion

  • @TheSplatt09 Stalin's version of communism ended up being just as fascistic though :S

    Alas, communism is an impossibility.

  • @TheSplatt09 your common view is a distorted one of what the true political spectrum looks like. The far left is total government control over the "masses," with very little personal freedom, while the far right is total personal freedom without ANY government control (anarchy). Naturally, such "freedom" comes without laws that protect one's freedom and rights, and will collapse into a reactionary totalitarianism. What is seen today as "far right" in America is actually moderate.

  • @yohannbiimu Both sides are all about control. Also your framing of the political environment in such basic terms, while nuanced isn't necessarily accurate. Because the parts of the american "right wing" that cry freedom are also the people that want to restrict who consenting adults can engage in relationships with, what you do with said consenting adults, and would deny a woman the right to decide what she can do with her body leaving her womb a slave to the state. Where's the freedom there?

  • @yohannbiimu i'm british actually :) - yeh i was just giving a quick summary, but thnx anyway. u clearly no ur stuff

  • @yohannbiimu As everything else in life it all depends on your point of view and how you define "moderate" (and "freedom" for that matter.)

As I've always understood it right-wing politics traditionally aren't about personal freedom as much as conservatism, nationalism and _economic_ freedom.

  • @megamarsvin I love you.

  • @6020e3 racialist is another word for racism/being a racist

  • @ghastly356 Actually its not. Racialist is a person who studies or subscribes to racial therory. The term has been around since the 19th century and is linked to Darwinism and predates modern genetic science. Racism and racist on the otherhand are relatively new words derived from the belief in multiple human races which is a scientifically invalided belief discredited since the 1950s yet still the terminology persists for political reasons.

  • @BritainDivided implying theres no such thing as race or sub species.

  • @lazerBAR There's only one human race (homo sapien is the scientific name) to which all the different human ethnicities belong. These different ethnicities are not separate human races as is commonly believed by many. The Homo genus only has one living species, homo sapien.

  • @BritainDivided I would disagree with you ONLY for this reason: occasionally, a news item about a murder tells us of a sick individual who does something grotesque with his/her victim's body after their death is obvious. An animal would not do that; therefore, a so-called human being who does that is a sub-human in my opinion, regardless of race, gender, nationality, etc.

  • @UberAntisocialist Wrong. Cats do this all the time and stay cute :)

  • Alles muss mit der Mittelschmertz gestorben sein!

  • Right, I was gonna say the top comment, but since it's been said, I won't say it.

  • Haha! If you can make fun of the Antichrist then you're winning the game.

  • I dont like the sound of these here boncentration bamps

  • 80% of the the people who read this sentence for the first time won't notice the second "the".

  • Hitler and Ron Vibbentrop. I didn't vote for them!

  • @brianartillery I would vote for those guys... I don't fuckin' care what Cleese's approach would be, but I would back it!

  • You wouldn't have had much fun in Stalingrad...

  • i am not a racilist xD

  • ГИТЛЕЕР КААЛЛЛ!!!!!!!! БЛЯ ПИДАРАЗ НАХЕР

  • Why is this from?

  • He's right. You know that?

  • I like the way Cleese/Hitler uses the 1970's word 'racial-ist' and not the pinko-bean bag word 'racist'.

  • LMAO!! God, I love how his arm moves during his speech

  • For me as a German it is really funny to hear a British immitating German - the only thing I understood was the English part in the end ;-)

  • @Anubis2705 From what I can hear, he says something like "Alles mussen der Messerschmidt geskaffen sein!" Nevermind the spelling, it's just what it sounds like. lol

  • @Republic3D

Well, even if he says so, this doesn't make anysense at all ;-) "Everything have to be the Messerschmidt [or actually "Knifesmith"^^] created!" ?!

Actually always funny that British and American believe that our "sch" is spoken like "sk" (as you wrote it here at least) and not like your "sh" ;-)

  • @Anubis2705 ...yet the guy is just speaking utter gibberish, but with absolutely stellar Danish intonation. Not sure how the whole thing would come across to a German though, it's possible you have to be Scandinavian to really appreciate it. Would depend on how much contact you've had with Denmark probably.

  • lol, why does the end bit have japanese subtitles?

And why are the subtitles wrong?

  • Someone should do a Hitler "Downfall" parody with Cleese dubbed onto Hitler's speech.

  • I want to join the National Bocialist party!

  • i think he actually says "racialist" not "racist"

  • 240p we meet again.

  • @ZaithHD This footage is over 30 years old the resolution is hardly going to be that high!

  • @ZaithHD what sort of brain disorder do you suffer from that makes you believe 240p is person? That's creepy.

  • lol where is this clip from?

I like John Cleese...he's a funny guy. Love him in Faulty Towers.

  • best..description.. ever!

  • I wads expecting to see someone here to say they used to be Htler (or rascist), till they took an arrow to the knee.

  • "Overall the older of the middle eight, therefore the iodine must append everything to the menstrual pain?"

Sorry old chap, I'm just not understanding your Banter today.

  • Ob alles : die Älter, die mittel acht darum die Jod

Alles muss mit dem Mittel schmerz gestapfen sein

    Ei am not äi räisselist

    Pass und this is epic.

    Tatsächlich..... bedeutet's nix !

  • Jiiiimmie Åkesson shalalalala!

  • @Laseranders Jaha?

  • He's right you know.

  • haha that's funny! shame nobody has the balls besides gervais to do comedy like that any more.

  • @xfinchx

And a shame that when Gervais does anything, it utterly fails to be funny.

  • @Malkalypse7 "hmmm....that's just like, your opinion man."

  • @xfinchx You'll be surprised. It's nowhere near as good as Cleese, but good nonetheless.

    /watch?v=luzrVRaBkGc

  • @OliByGolly1 ha what do you expect from the aussies! they don't give a flying fuck and i love em for it. there would be a faux outrage in the UK over that and that guy would be hung out to dry

  • @xfinchx Most shows would be pounced on for something like that in Australia, but not the Chasers XD. However i think they took it a little overboard with this one:

    /watch?v=mZw2Z7LJqxw

  • No, Mr Fawlty! Do Jimmy Cagney instead!!

  • My dick is so big, that it can out-whatever whatever there is to out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • What the fuck is a racialist?

  • @SuperSmashyfication It doesn't help he did a German accsent

  • @SuperSmashyfication wikipedia is your friend.

  • Comment removed

  • A top comment is the only thing that can actually out comment a comment

  • @BlocklandSpartan I hope this comment can out comment the comment about the comment a comment

  • @BlocklandSpartan you commented a comment that as a top comment out commented all comments and was about commenting comment and top comment out comment comments, this is a cmment about all those comment witch are... (repeat reading)

  • @balsphinktahr this is a *cOmment

  • That's even funnier that Adolf himself—Cleese really is a giant of UK comedy. They don't make 'em like that anymore...

  • Dem mannerisms lol.

  • so he is British pretending to be German with Chinese subtitles, da hell!!!!

  • @MeggaPunch no, it is Japanese subtitles.

  • I am offensive and i find this a nazi

  • So this is where Sacha Baron Cohen stole racialist from

  • @metyuewb

    No. Racialist is a word.

  • @metyuewb right and it's not too hard to use it in this context either

  • I am not a racilist too :D

  • Its clips like these that help us come together in unity and harmony more. Some of you might hate this comment but I only mean it in the sense of all of us being able to take jokes and evolve forward if you dig what im saying lol

  • the subtitles are so deep...

  • Armpit farting?

  • Comment removed

  • Hahaha! very funny

  • what's a racilist?

  • @aboyborninjune The meaning of "racialist" and "racist" swapped. "Racist" used to mean someone who believes each race IS different but NOT in one being superior, but that's what "racialist" means now.

  • @Paranomasia12

Really, because I thought racialism was racism in the form of ideology, while racism itself can simply refer to personal sentiments or biases.

  • John Cleese is the only person in the world who can out-Hitler Hitler.

  • @DayDreamAscent Actually you've forgotten about Charlie Chaplin.

  • @DayDreamAscent

Sorry, I prefer Charlie Chaplin. Cleese isn't bad, though.

  • @DayDreamAscent nah, that would be chaplin

  • random japanese subtitles. haha.

  • It's impossible to say this without sounding flippant, but it honestly reminds me, in a strange sort of way, of Jade Goody's eviction from Celebrity Big Brother.

  • is it just me or does it sound like he said "racilist"? lol

  • @SpecialAgentRavage That's what the brits call it.

  • @iconoclasttm do we fuck. we say "racist"
