FYI The tribe I come from happen to be of the darkest groups of Africa but even amongst us we have lighter shades. Igbo have alot of red Africans but many are jet black darker than you Bantu somali, but we love and marry each other without batting an eyelid. Not like Somalia where the light skinned prefer to marry themselves and the woman of old powdered their skin to look lighter b/c light was considered beauty. I am trying to be polite but I hear the same ignorant comments from alot of Somali. Firstly only a very small percentage of West Africans are Bantu and it is mostly on the border of Nigeria and Cameroun. Secondly most West Africans are Sudanic peoples like 90%. Kushtic groups moved into West Africa and yes some mixed with pygmies, no problem with that at all.
