Both Eric AND PublicDefenceAct are from Canada, meaning it would apply to them and all Canadians. And, frankly, I think it would be better if saying people hated things publicly in America would be illegal. It's not illegal to hate on someone/something in Canada. Freedom of expression is covered under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms 1867. But if you create a group of people who have the same opinion and go out and do something illegal, say attack someone because your views contrast one another is illegal, and anyone in the group will be prosecuted under association of the group.

Other then then that, you can do what you want about Beiber or hating.

I think this kid just bought himself a world of hurt. (And NOT physically.) Odds are his parents, his "Uncle" and everyone he mentioned in his family are going to be affected one way or another. His parents WILL be contacted. His "Uncle" MAY be confronted at work by his superiors. In short, this kid's whole world is going to come crashing down and he may not be ABLE to get close enough to a computer to post an apology! LOL
