Great, funny interview. One of my favorites. What was with the pity party comment? This is about a young singer being overwhelmed and actually articulating it rather than being cocky. A rare trait for a performer. David gave mega kudos to Kanye...no need to worry about a competition.

David is barely 18. His life has changed dramatically in the past year and he doesn't take any of it for granted. That's a huge part of why his fans love him so much. I don't hear a pity party at all. I hear a kid who shows respect for ALL people and who understands the privilege that's been bestowed upon him. It's too bad some people don't understand that.
